2020-2021 Creighton

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Current M1 with a couple questions for you guys... what are the class sizes for the Omaha and Phoenix campuses next year? And if accepted, are you placed at a certain campus or is that determined later?

I’m also happy to answer any questions you have about Creighton, Omaha, curriculum, etc. Best of luck to everyone waiting to hear!
During my interview, I believe that they said 100 students for Phoenix and 130 for Omaha. I had a couple days after my interview to decide if I wanted to change my preferred campus to the other one. Then I was accepted for that particular campus.

I haven’t taken physiology or statistics but applied anyway. Figured if I got an II I’d just take them this spring or summer but at this point I’m thinking I should probably just withdraw my app.

How do I find the contact information of my interviewers to send them a thank you note?

Has everyone that was accepted received a background check? I was accepted around 2 months ago and have received nothing.

Not sure if you meant looking up the actual names of the interviewers, but I just emailed the thank you letter as an attachment to the medadmissions email. If you don't remember the name of your interviewer calling admissions might be the only way to find out unfortunately

Does anyone know what the attire is of the live Q&A on Friday is? just business casual?
If I recall correctly, almost everyone at our Q&A was dressed in professional clothes (ie w/ suit jacket)

Just got an II! (LM 69, OOS, complete early September)

Can anyone shed more light on the interview process/style? I'll do some digging on my own, but I always appreciate some SDN input.
Congrats! How far have they scheduled the interviews?

Options were next Monday through Thursday. Which is pretty short notice getting the II this week. I don't know if there are other interviews outside of next week, but I feel like there should be

I interviewed with a student from Omaha and a faculty member from Phoenix, and both were super nice and seemed to be genuinely interested in getting to know me. No tricky questions or anything. Then there is a mandatory information session on Fridays that you must attend to have your file evaluated by the committee. This includes a more informal Q&A with current students. I kinda wish they would have done the entire process in one day so that it wouldn't interfere with 2 days, but it was enjoyable. There was a little bit of time to talk to other interviewees as well.

Hi! I was just wondering if you could speak to how religious the student body is? Faculty?

Alternate list just now through portal update. Did not get an email yet. Info session 1/8

Edit: email received 2/5

Does anyone know what the process is for requesting to switch regional campuses after acceptance?

For anyone who submitted an update through the portal, did you get any kind of confirmation that it was received?

for anyone who is on the ADCOM do you know if they take the highest MCAT score reported?

has anyone received a financial package yet for those who have been accepted?

Has anyone had A's via portal status change that had a Q&A on 1/8? I noticed mine just changed today, but it doesn't say Accepted, just that the "thanks for interviewing" disappeared

Hey is in anyone in the same boat or have any ideas on this:

Anatomy. Does anyeone know if you can take a summer course prior to matriculating if your A is contingent on it. Or if there is an online course that’s accepted?

Anatomy isn't required. Only physiology is. I would check with the office of admissions, but a lot of schools are okay with summer courses as long as it meets some deadline (deadline of when transcripts are due usually). Additionally, there are apparently accelerated, one-month online courses for different courses that might fulfil the requirement. But like I said, the office probably deals with cases like these all the time so they would have the best suggestions.

Anyone knows how long their interview season is?
