they sent an email for the II. Yeah i'm right there with you, i just so happened to check the portal and there it was.
 
Has anyone just come to the conclusion that we are all participants in some hidden camera show and Meharry just wants to see how we respond lol...like...seriously
*calls meharry* - Verizon tells me the number I have reached is not in service

*calls 2 seconds later* - gets campus directory, chooses admissions, hears 1 second of classical music before the phone disconnects

*calls back* - Verizon message

*calls again*, gets through, chooses SOM this time. Is directed to leave a message and is dropped off at a full voicemail....

*inwardly curses*

*calls again, gets classical music for half a second before disconnected again...

And they have the nerve to say "if this is an emergency please call 911......" meharry... if this was an emergency I'd be in the grave lmao

So please tell me....where are the cameras 😂

I've heard it gets better after you are accepted but I totally feel you
 
How do you know if they’ve received all your documents/scores? Like the secondary app and casper score. Is there a way to confirm?

Has anyone who submitted secondary in October heard back yet for interview? Has anyone been accepted with an mcat lower than 500 OOS? How can we contact admissions?

Submitted in september and haven't heard back. I've spoken to some current students who got in with less than 500 and were OOS. As far as contact, you can call but they will not answer. You can email and MAYBE 3 or 4 months from now you'll get a generic/automated email response that doesn't answer your question.
 
For anyone who has received an II recently, how far out were they scheduling?

This isn't a new announcement but what exactly is wrong with this criteria? They want to make sure that people who really need this funding have the best opportunity at receiving it. Why shouldn't they help those economically disadvantaged? Those URM? Those who have maintained good academic standing? etc. To me, strings attached means they are baiting you in so you owe them later. This s just targeting the scholarship to who they, and possibly Bloomberg wanted to target.

Thank you so much for saying this. I just checked applyweb and there was an acceptance waiting for me. I was sure I would have received an email or something letting me know of my acceptance but I never got one. I literally have no idea how long this decision has been sitting in the portal, so I hope I am still able to accept it.

That’s great news for you!!!! I interviewed Dec 3rd and I’m spiraling because this is my number 1. So we’ll see
 
Interviewed 11/4 and haven’t heard anything yet. Should I contact admissions?
 
Did you guys stop receiving the “Thank you for your application to Meharry Medical College” email that came every week? My last one was 11/26
