Sorry to double-post, but their twitter said they sent 11 interviews out this morning, but the tracker jumped from 327 interviews scheduled to 349... That must include MSTP interviews, correct?

I don't know how up to date the tracker is, there definitely are more than 47 offers extended since they just released a batch.

Received an interview this morning- super excited!! Out of state! secondary complete 7/14!

Wow 7/14?! Congrats! If you were stressed, I hope this makes me feel so much better! <3

I was complete in August and have gotten silence. I doubt I'm interesting enough for them to wanna talk to me, but this gives me hope, haha

Do they post updates on any other platform other than twitter?

Any current MSTP students have any insight to being put on hold for a decision in February? I interviewed in October and was told that most students would be put on hold until they finish interviewing other applicants (I was). I can't find much info from past years about the acceptance rate after an interview, so I just wanted to see if anyone can share their interview and admissions date. Thank you!
You will just have to wait come February. As was probably mentioned at your interview, this is done to ensure that applicants who are interviewed on our December and January date are given a fair comparison and that the class isn't filled prematurely. Your decision, as it currently stands is on hold, it has no baring on the outcome (accept or reject) come February.

My application to UMich appears to have... disappeared? I submitted it on July 16th and had CASPer and MCAT score sent by mid-August; never got a complete email but thought nothing of it. But now when I access the applicant portal I see "You have not yet started any forms for University of Michigan Medical School." Has this happened to anyone else?
It should say "APPLICATION COMPLETE -- Your file is now complete and under review. Reviews may take up to several months and could include some 'on hold' time while we evaluate competencies across all applicants in order to put together a balanced and diverse class. Thank you in advance for your patience during this lengthy period of time."

You'll probably want to contact admissions about that one. Best of luck!

anyone have any insight? still holding onto some hope for umich love lol. seems like the IIs so far have mostly been oos
Not sure how much weight this holds, but I've heard pre-health advisors say they haven't been informed/heard of students they know receiving interviews from Umich who were in-state.

I read earlier in this thread that IS II tend to be heavier later in the cycle. Do you guys think UMich is at that point?

I'd like to preface by saying I do not have direct insight or connection with anyone in admissions on the matter. Based on my observation, I will say that up to this point, the weekly interviewee profiles that we receive have not shown any clear pattern or preference to IS or OOS students. There has been a consistently large spread going back to August. Again, this is by observation and things might be changing. This is an unusual application year with higher than normal numbers of applicants and unprecedented circumstance. n = 1.

If u were complete July and didn’t receive anything is it a soft R? I’m IS and have ties if that changes anything lol

I don't think that this is true. In prior cycles, UMICH makes it very clear when they switch to IS students. Their Monday tweets will say "X amount of interviews all going out to residents of the state of Michigan!" I have been following Umich's cycles for nearly 4 years (Umich undergraduate) and while they may have interviewed a select few IS students early this year (as they always do- URM, extraordinary, etc), I would wager that OOS interviews will be coming to a close very shortly. This has usually happened around Thanksgiving but considering that Umich began a month late this year due to COVID-19 delays, it is not unexpected that OOS II's are still being extended.

Getting an interview here would be nice but idk if I will with a 510
