I *think* I saw that they may be interviewing into April? I'm not sure though. @NernstEqn911 @Optimist Prime do either of you know?Congrats! Which dates did you see available? Anyone know when the last interview day is?
They said the last interview date was in April (one date in april I believe!)Congrats! Which dates did you see available? Anyone know when the last interview day is?
I don’t have it right in front of me but I believe this is correctThey said the last interview date was in April (one date in april I believe!)
I can’t remember what our class stats were but for the first class they had a 28% post interview acceptance rate. This year will probably be even lower since our school has added more interview dates than they had previously.Anyone know post interview chances of acceptance at this school? Also, if accepted/already accepted, would you choose to go to a new school like TCU or one that has been around for a while and has graduated many classes?
Just to expand upon what my classmate has said, I personally know classmates who turned down Baylor, Drexel, Georgetown, Dartmouth, Texas A & M, U MASS, Louisville, Ohio State, among others to come here.I can’t remember what our class stats were but for the first class they had a 28% post interview acceptance rate. Everyone has different reasons for attending different schools. What I can tell you is me and many of my classmates turned down acceptances to well established and prestigious schools to attend TCU.
But did your entire class receive some kind of scholarship the first year ?Just to expand upon what my classmate has said, I personally know classmates who turned down Baylor, Drexel, Georgetown, Dartmouth, Texas A & M, U MASS, Louisville, Ohio State, among others to come here.
Oh yeah this is a good point that may have swayed decisions. Assuming everyone got a full ride for the entering class. But did your entire class receive some kind of scholarship the first year ?

The entering class got a full ride for their first year. Me and @OrexinRules are both a part of the second class, which did not have the same offer. The schools that were listed were all from students in our class. But did your entire class receive some kind of scholarship the first year ?
I would also make the same decision. TCU has a lot of cool opportunities and their philosophy is something that I think is more unique. Seems like an awesome spot! The entering class got a full ride for their first year. Me and @OrexinRules are both a part of the second class, which did not have the same offer. Best of luck with your upcoming interviews! You will find the school that is right for you. Trust the process.R just now, pre-II. Complete in beginning of October. Really bummed but motivated to do that much better on upcoming interviews
When did you submit? I'm sorry to hear this!Rejected today, with a LM of roughly 68 there were not a ton of schools that I had averages above (this being one of them), it is a little more frustrating when opportunities like TCU don't work. But I suppose thats why we apply broadly.
Congrats! What dates did they have available? Also received an II today! My very first one as a reapplicant, with no interviews last cycle. Completely floored. Complete 8/19, LM~69, OOS.

I don't totally remember but it would have been close to as early as possible, maybe late July or early August. When did you submit? I'm sorry to hear this!
Two Mondays in FebruaryCongrats! What dates did they have available?
Thanks! I want to say one in late Feb, one in early March, and one sometime in April. I also wasn't able to schedule until several hours after the email came, so there could have been some dates earlier that filled up.Congrats! What dates did they have available?
Thank you! I got an email.Congrats! Do they call or email?
Anybody else complete mid august and silence still?
Ditto
Oh, horrors! Call them! Good luck. I'm both cackling at the thought of serious admissions committee members logging in to prepare for their interview with you and viewing this with horror, and also cringing for you. I truly do hope this gets worked out. Good luck with everything. To reserve your interview spot, you have to add a picture of yourself. I chose a placeholder image since I was at work on mobile when my II came through. I went to put in my headshot and found that you can't change the picture

Oh this isn't the picture that I uploaded, it's just my perpetual facial expression since it happened. I uploaded a casual picture of me at a research conference from 2017 lolOh, horrors! Call them! Hi! they do not accept updates, I emailed admissions last weekdo you guys suggest sending an update letter now ( vs the potential of adcoms being on winter break) or waiting it out til Jan (potential of an R)?? Thanks
Also curious about this. It says it starts at 12 but doesn't say how long it lastsHow long is the mandatory house party?
It takes a little longer than 1 hour, but they let you go after the 1st hourAlso curious about this. It says it starts at 12 but doesn't say how long it lasts
Under your Interview tab, you should have a tab that says "From Applicant to Empathetic Scholar". It sounds like you watch the videos linked there, then attend a session with panelists from the school where you can ask any questions you have. Lasts for about an hour on the Monday after you interview. It's mandatory, but professional attire not required. What is this mandatory house party?

Wondering this as wellAnyone know if the admissions team is on holiday break or if we will continue to receive updates today and on New Year's day?
Why not take it? It's a great class and will help, wherever you go.Wondering if I still have a chance here, would love to interview and attend but one of their prereqs is genetics which I plan on taking this spring if they'd interview me. Running out of time. OOS, LM 69, complete 7/31
