Yeah, the latest I saw in last year's thread was 02/05, with an R wave coming in mid February. Maybe there's a delay this year but idk. 🙁
Yea that’s what I saw too, which is what I’m saying. But they interview till the 1st week of March apparently so that gives more than enough time for interviews to go out in the next 2 weeks but 😢.

Should we expect responses from interviewers for our thank you notes?

do letters of interest count for anything Pre-II at this school? Debating if I should combine an update letter + interest letter.
I’ve heard different things but I’m sending one in because I do think my updates are fairly substantial and I think it’s worth a shot as such

Go for it if it's substantial and worth giving it a shot. I can't say it was a factor but I got my II three weeks after sending my updates.

Wow, they’re still going through July completions that’s crazy. I wonder if they’re reviewing October or after ones, especially for people with late MCAT dates this cycle.
I was complete end of October (10/30) and interviewed here last month! So they're definitely looking at applications w/ later completion dates 🙂

For people who heard back and interviewed already, what time in the day did you get your decision? Was it by email? I know that decisions for interviews now seem to come on Friday mornings - I just want to know how long I need to put my phone away/not check my email on Friday 😊😊

It was via email and mine was around 11:30AM. Good luck!

For those already accepted, do you have any information regarding sites? I am a little stressed about picking one and wanted to hear if others have any information they got from elsewhere that helped their decision. Also, is it binding?

You could try reaching out to some of the current students that stated that they had rotations at INOVA.

Just wondering if there are any fellow Canadians who are considering going here ?

does anyone know if there is an accepted students facebook page?
Here ya go

I'm at the Charlottesville site for rotations and would be happy to speak about why. In terms of if it's binding, the "colleges" that students are split into are partially based on placements (the 40 or so students in INOVA will be placed in a college and a weekly small group together so that they can rotate up to INOVA at the same time and get closer over the 4 years of school). I believe you can easily switch up until before classes start, but the closer you get to the start of classes, the harder it is for admin to switch groups around so better to switch earlier if that is what you need to do! A handful of students switch after M1 has started in which case they have to personally find a replacement to take their place in Cville/INOVA, but it definitely is possible and happens!

Hiiii quick question - for people applying for financial aid, how are you filling out the restricted scholarship section? This one asks us to write about extracurriculars, and I am wondering how specific we should be. Do we just copy from our primary application? Or would those little essays be too detailed and they just want names and titles

When is the financial aid packet due for UVA even if you have not had a decision yet?
