also considering that there's a decent portion of the class (I think it's 20-30 people per year) from their MAMS program which is meant for people with lower GPAs. So the portion of non-MAMS students probably have an average gpa greater than the 3.85

EDIT: i now see that the MEDIAN is 3.85 not average whoops, so maybe this isn't as valid

I have to say, seeing all the Rs coming in for people who are complete just about a week or so before your own date is a different type of terrifying experience.. like a time bomb without a display.. you know you are going to be hit very soon, but you have no idea when. I'm sorry to everyone who got hit with the R so far, and good luck to all the rest of us who are anxiously waiting!
