Is everyone taking snapshot? In the secondary email they sent it looks like they only want CASPER and DUET

Is the secondary portal not working for anyone else rn?
 
Has anyone received an interview invitation? I know it says on MSAR they will start in August but didn't know if anyone got an early invite.

I have not done Snapshot yet. Altus extended the deadline so that it is now only "recommended" to do Duet and Snapshot within 14 days of CASPer but you have until the school's transmission deadline to do it. I have not done Snapshot because none of the schools I'm applying to require it. As far as I know, Wake does not ask for it and Duet will not directly be used in the application review process

Hey! I also got this email a few days before you and reached out to admissions a few days ago. They said “We’re still processing applications, you will hear from us shortly!”

basically I guess we have to wait…

Do you or anyone know if people have been marked complete without snapshot?

How long after taking your Casper and DUET did it take for your application to be marked complete?

I was just marked complete, (casper was the only thing missing) Casper was sent July 18. Took a little bit of time so just be patient if you are still waiting!

I just submitted the secondary and, when looking at the checklist, it says "MD Application Checklist Status" with nothing under it. I waited for a few hours before posting this but still did not get a complete email or a change in my checklist. Is that happening to anyone else? Cheers for your responses in advance.

For me, I submitted 6/28 and got "complete" email on 7/14.

I submitted my app 7/3 and just got my application complete notification today, so I wouldn't worry!

Hey! How easy is it for med students to become involved with the research at the Wake Institute for Regenerative Medicine? Regenerative medicine is a big interest of mine and would love to get involved there if I get accepted.

Fairly Easy! The building is right next door, and part of the optional summer research program (MSRP) list there were several PI's looking for students last year! Everyone at Wake is very nice, so if you send a couple of emails out you should probably be able to find something there :)

One of my friends told me that they got caught the R from Wake yesterday. I'm going to throw up. And so it begins...

I am thinking that since I have not gotten my secondary yet that I too caught the R, but I am going to email today.

Every time I try and access the link to the secondary I get an "access denied" page. I submitted on July 9th and have been completed since then. Is this happening to anyone else?

You're probably clicking on the original secondary link. You can find the link to check on your application status if you scroll down the original email and click on portal link. They also send it again after you submit.

I have submitted my secondary, but just want to verify everything went through and looked correct. Is there any way to look at the secondary application once we submitted? All I can access now is the Application Checklist, which does not give much information.

Click View Form HTML. That should show your secondary responses.

sorry this is a late response but i'm in a similar boat!! there is hope for us yet, they said this in an email to me:

"Graduate and post-baccalaureate coursework will be taken into account when reviewing your science GPA."
