Completed my application on July 23rd and received my II yesterday! I am OOS. I'm also a bit confused. Are they using VITA again or will this be some kind of school-specific, one-way interview?

Congrats on the II, so exciting!! AAMC has said that VITA was not being offered for this admissions cycle, so the interview is school-specific, however, I am not positive about whether it is one-way. Best of luck with your interview!!!
Congrats on the II!! Sounds like they’re doing vita again with a virtual session. I don’t know if it’s the same as last year where the virtual session was mostly informal. Have you received an invite from AAMC to complete the VITA? They’re usually sent out on Thursday iirc.
Thank you! MSAR says they are hoping to offer a virtual MMI so I guess that's what it will be? Congrats 🙂 They are using something called Kira Talent this year which is virtual one-way like VITA. They said it is MMI style but I don't really know anything else about the formatting.
Any RD invites go out?

Has anyone who got an II last week had success signing up for their info session? The link was not working for me and I wasn’t sure if I should email the admission’s office.

Hi, the link worked for me, but I accessed it last Friday afternoon. If you are continuing to have difficulty with it, I would definitely contact admissions. They want to meet you! I am sure they would be glad to help! 🙂

It is August. Plenty of matriculants receive IIs in October, November, etc. The waiting game is not fun... but it wouldn't be a game if it was easy!
Hey again, Yes I received it last Friday, signed up for the virtual session next Wed, Sept 1st about 1 hr after receiving it, and received an email from "[email protected]" yesterday at 1:43 pm. I had added the email address to my contacts on Friday when WF gave the heads up that's where it would come from. Still no email?
Hmmm okay, thanks for letting me know! I still don't have the link yet so I guess I'll email the school. I signed up for the September 8th info session so maybe I'll receive it closer to then? If I don't have anything by the end of today I'll reach out. Thanks for your help!

3:00pm Welcome with the Dean and a virtual tour
3:30pm Q&A with Financial Aid
Break, Admissions Staff will remain on to answer any questions
4:00pm Q&A with Faculty
4:30pm Q&A with Students
Using Webex software.

For anyone wondering here is some info that might be helpful. Admissions doesn't look at your virtual interview until after you attend an info session so don't feel rushed to do it immediately after the invite. During the interview, you click on a button to start the each question when you are ready, it doesn't automatically throw you into it. So feel free to catch your breath, go to the bathroom, etc in between. You are given 5 minutes to respond to each question, but you can press submit if you feel you are done so you don't have to use the entire time and sit there awkwardly waiting for time to run out. Wake is planning on using the virtual format going forward even after the pandemic. Good luck everyone.
I recently submitted my secondary but just realized today that WFSOM wanted applicants to also take the Duet portion of Altus suite. I submitted my primary to WFSOM long after I had taken my CASPer for this cycle and never completed the Duet section. Is this an automatic R due to incomplete? Very very disappointed.
Casper extended their Duet deadline didn't they?
You are absolutely right! For some reason I couldn't find it in my Altus suite, but I was looking at the wrong place. Going to do it now. Thanks a lot

They don't explicitly state that you must complete Duet, but the page mentions that you need to complete Altus Suite and don't need Snapshot.
Altus Suite - Snapshot = Casper + Duet
And there's a whole section detailing what Casper and Duet are. So, it implicitly states that both are necessary.

Question, I scheduled my information session on 10/18, I'm aware that I have to do my video assessment prior to attending the information session. I checked in on 9/25 for the video assessment but dont have it complete yet. I scheduled a mock interview with a close associate on 10/1. Would it look bad if I waited til after my mock interview to complete my assessment? Or should I just do my assessment ASAP.

Hey all. I received an interview from WFSOM. For those who have completed the interview thus far, are you given two or five minutes to respond to questions? The website says you are given 2 minutes to prep and 5 minutes to respond, but the training section has only 1 minute of prep time, and you are given two minutes to respond. I'm little confused on the timing here.
For the actual assessment, you will have two minutes of prep time and 5 minutes to answer. The practice portion is shorter and meant to familiarize you with the system. I hope this helps.
