yup! also the matriculation requirements was definitely there for a while— I asked on here several weeks ago and multiple ppl confirmed it was always there.

Frankly, I don't remember. It was all a blur and I can't remember the person's name who called me loll.

Are you basing OOS and IS off of what people are saying on this website? Or is there a policy that OOS gets called before IS?
Yes, but the sample size of only OOS getting accepted is like n=5. I'm sure IS applicants have gotten phone calls too. It depends much more on if your interviewer has called their accepted applicants yet.

Point is, everyone who hasn't been called take a deep breath. Probably a very small percentage of accepted applicants have been called. You can still get called for the next few days, and my guess is the official emails will go out later in the week. From previous year's threads, some interviewers don't even call their applicants, so even if you're not called you could very well get accepted. All of this is not even taking into account that apparently most applicants get deferred and are accepted in March.

Just going to clarify, you may not get a call saying you're accepted, you may just receive an email. Interviewers are given your cell phone info and email info and they can decide how they let you know.
are decisions typically staggered across some time or are they all released at once?

I think it’s staggered. It seems like it’s more of a “here’s the list of accepted students you can call/email, do it if you want sometime before official decisions come out on X day” so interviewers are probably working around their personal schedules

heartfelt congratulations to everyone accepted!!

Does anyone know if they’re still sending out II? or when their interviews are done? I spoke to them a few weeks ago and they said they were considering giving me an interview but idk if that was just them being polite or if I have an actual chance.

I got an interview in Jan last year so im pretty sure they still have plenty to give. Can I ask what you said to them though for them to tell you this?? I’m getting very desperate at this point and have been thinking about reaching out to adcoms

Yea as others have said it's staggered! I know that sucks for the anxiety many of y'all feel so sorry about that haha

Congrats to everyone with the A, please feel free to DM about any questions about BU. As I've said before on here, I do really feel like BU has given me great opportunities and in terms of applying to residency rn, I have more interviews than I know what to do with and I feel very well prepared knowledge wise for starting residency in 6 months

Still waiting for the call? Should we hope for this wave still or it is all over for Dec and should wait till March for decision?

For those of you who got the A via email, was it a formal email from BU admissions or was it your interviewer personally emailing you?

Check out this comment: (I think it could come from an interviewer's email or phone number)

Did anyone that get an acceptance get a call/email from interview initials DR?
