I uploaded a hybrid type letter where I updated them on my coursework and activities, and also reiterated my interest in the medical school. I'm not sure what they prefer but I did get accepted.
From what I remember, it did take a little while. I also wondered the same thing shortly after paying my deposit.

The deadline for submitting a secondary isn't until January, and their website says they interview from September to March.

Per the application 4-6 weeks, but longer cause of holidays if you interviewed recently. Also, they specifically said the dates we could hear back during my Friday info session if you haven't had yours yet

yea, I sent 2 updates/LOI letters so far. One on research and another on a new extracurricular activity I started
I’d imagine the Admitted Students Day message will not appear for anyone until it gets closer to February, which is when the next one is.
They usually over enroll about twofold, so it would be around 54%.
I think you could rank the campus before the interview and they assign one after
