First tier WL, Interviewed October
Yup because I just got second tier. Pretty crushed I’m assuming very little chance for second tier.also first tier waitlist, interviewed in September. is there a second tier waitlist ?
I believe CR just means they haven't made an official decision yet i.e. your application is still up for review and you can still be accepted, waitlisted, or rejected whereas waitlist means they've made their initial decision and will revisit your app later on in the cycle once waitlist movement starts (probably May based on previous years)I'm the Lorax, I speak for the students, and I say this confusion is needless and convoluted. Does anyone know the difference between "continued review" and "waitlist"? feels like Hofstra is being intentionally difficult to understand.
YupDoes the WL email state that your are in which tiers?
from looking at last year's trends, imo i think so but not 100% sure ofcIs it likely if we haven't heard back yet that it could be an A? Eeeeek
interviewed 12/1, accepted on 1/19+1 continued review, interviewed 12/8. Did anyone actually get accepted on Tuesday 1/23?
one round went out in like december or november i thinkHas anyone gotten pre-II rejections?
I did pre and post II. They were substantial updates. I think it's a good idea.Does anyone know if it's worth sending/they like to see a post-II update?
No but interviewed in JanDid everyone who interviewed get either a continued review, WL, or A at this point? I’ve gotten nothing so far, interviewed early Dec OOS
When did you interview? And congratulations 🙂OOS A
Did you get a call or an email today? I interviewed mid-jan so I'm just wondering what method it'll be coming through whenever I hear back 🙂OOS A

When did you interview? Congratulations btw!!!!IS A!!!
12/8, 56 daysWhen did you interview? Congratulations btw!!!!
I think if you got the continued review email, it’s a great sign because we haven’t seen any post-II R’s on this forum, just WL’s. According to admit.org, the post-II rate is 46%, and if you dodged the WL’s, then your chances should be even higher.Interviewed early October, continued interest email Jan 23rd. This waiting is killing me!!!
Still haven't heard anything? I interviewed early Dec too and haven't heard anything since the interview.Did everyone who interviewed get either a continued review, WL, or A at this point? I’ve gotten nothing so far, interviewed early Dec OOS
+1Still haven't heard anything? I interviewed early Dec too and haven't heard anything since the interview.
