Hey everyone! My portal says that they haven't received all of my letters of rec but all of them have been submitted through AMCAS. I sent an email about it but no response! Any advice?

Check their specific requirements for letters too in case you are missing a certain type of letter they want

have any md/phd applicants received a decision yet? or any info on when those will be released ? i think they told us early Dec during my interview

Anyone know what the waitlist movement at Miller is like?

Has anybody gotten an interview invite lately? Seems like it’s been awhile

Has any low stat applicants recieved II's or A's (below 510 mcat)? It seems as though UMiami has only been giving love to super high-stat applicants lately.
They seem to be behind on apps and most schools usually interview higher stat applicants so that's probably why. (I'm not sure if any low stat applicants have been interviewed though)

I think high stats applicants get II first in the cycle and then the committee moves to lower stats later in the cycle until March at some schools. The higher stats people could commit to other schools earlier and adcoms have to fill the class with what's left. They accept more than class size due to higher stats or even lower stats committing to other schools. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much guys, yeah that makes a lot of sense. Looking at other forums it seemed as though schools have transitioned from high stat apps to low stat apps but I think UMiami is just lagging behind everybody. Keeping my LM 66 hopes up high haha

Did anyone else get an email that a cane ID has been created for them?
I did too, I am very confused and sadly the school is incredibly difficult to get a hold of over the phone. My status is still listed as "Received" and no word on an interview.

Yeah not sure if because of the portal issues they r just issuing new accounts? don’t wanna get my hopes up in case they sent to everyone

I tried to set up my CaneID and log in but it doesn't seem to be working. I set up the two-factor authentication and get a salesforce error when logging in

I think the CaneID emails were for people who went there for undergrad. I got one but it was sent to my old email, not the one associated with my application

This could be it because although I didn’t end up matriculating, I did get in and had an account and everything and I also got a caneID email

Well their average looks to be about 515 so 510 might be on the lower side for Miller.

I just hope Miller sends final post-II holds/Rs this Friday. They've sent those in previous cycles but thus far have been very reserved with any decisions. Been holding my breath for months now 😅

Side note, does Miller send out complete emails after the secondary receipt ones?
