Has anyone heard back about their date preferences after sending them in from the interview invite? I haven't heard anything after getting the invite and sending my preferences. The first date is tomorrow, so I'm a little nervous

lmaooo they probably sent more but you'll see like 15% of actual II's on SDN

Does anyone know how strict they are with their letter of recommendation requirements? Their website says that you must have two letters from science faculty who have taught you, whereas MSAR says that you must have three letters from faculty members who can evaluate you. I have 2 letters from science faculty but only one of them has taught me, wondering if I'll be screened out bc of this

Yeah, so, I actually did call them about it and was a bit disappointed with the response. They said that I could go ahead and submit the letters I have, but that "this is not what they are looking for." Tbh, the person on the phone seemed annoyed that I was even asking this question. I got the impression that they would maybe consider my letters, but they seem like they have a clear preference for two science faculty letters that have explicitly taught you. So far, no II. I am curious if anyone who has received an II didn't have the strict letter requirements; i.e. if they ever overlook it.

I called them two days ago, and asked if they had LOR exceptions for non traditional students because I only have one. They stated to email them about my dilemma and they would add it to my file.

It was sent via email. I havent checked my portal so I have no idea if it's reflected there.

I sent them updates and they replied back via email. They also said those who are selected for an interview will have an opportunity to provide additional info to the admissions committee at that time.

I asked about update letters at the AMCAS virtual med school fair too and their adcom said they don't accept updates unless they specifically reach out to you requesting more information

You don’t see your score, but in the past they sent an email with the phrase “your application has been scored”. Higher scores would probably earn an interview, lower ones they will wait on.

Personally I never got a "Your application has been scored" email, but I got the II a few weeks back (and submitted like mid August). I know others who got IIs and they didn't get that email either, so maybe it's changed this cycle? Or it's reflected on the portal, which we never check.

lol that's what they say on their website. I emailed them, and they said due to their volume of applicants they aren't accepting updates anymore
