I still haven’t gotten mine. I only got 2 of 30 secondaries sent to me, so I’m thinking they’re waiting till the weekend, and maybe the holiday, passes.

sounds like the IIs are starting. I heard that they let you know about IIs within 48 hours of receiving your completed application so this makes sense

Many would call them gap years, maybe time to do some volunteering or clinical work they didn’t have time for in college, or time to mature and get ready for med school

Wow, Rutgers NJ gets going right away with their ED applicants! I wish other schools would also do this.
Deadline for submitting your ED application is August 1, but interviews have started.

These applicants are also reviewed again by the NJMS admissions committee a little later in the admissions cycle.

I think it’s something they try to do to promote their efficiency with ED decisions, I wouldn’t say it’s guaranteed esp since it seems like their committee doesn’t meet everyday either
