Probably going to assume that those 20% OOS at least were able to answer one of these?
I know a few people that got in with no ties. They are somewhat OOS Friendly for a public school

+1 OOS from CA. I'm not sure if it's worth submitting if I don't have ties to Ohio at all.

+1 OOS, but did anyone else receive like 4 separate emails all for the supplemental application? I was worried when I saw 4 new emails in my wright state outlook folder lol

Any OOS still waiting on a secondary? :(
I am OOS and received my secondary last week after submitting my primary soon after AMCAS opened. Don't worry about not receiving one as long as you met all the requirements! :)

Did anyone have problems with secondary application payment getting declined? I tried multiple times today but my payment got declined every time. I emailed them but haven’t got an answer yet.

#7 if you took time off during college
#8 after graduating college, what you have you been doing

just making sure, is the gap in education question only about time off during college? im wondering/confused cause it comes right after it asks if there's a gap between achieving our bachelor's degree and matriculation into medical school...and it doesn't specify for during college? but then we have that non-trad question lol

yes, the gap in education question means if you took time off while being in college. The next question implies the time after graduating college and before you start medical school

My son got in. He is OOS but got his undergraduate degree in Ohio. I will say almost all of the OOS acceptances were minority applicants

Not necessarily true, I'm OOS ORM who matriculated in 2022 and there are a handful of us who are ORM OOS.

Hmmm...........I said that almost all OOS acceptances were minority applicants and you state that's not necessarily true because you are an OOS over represented minority........Not sure how that does anything but proves my point. It happened a few years back but not tremendously long ago.

ORM = overrepresented in medicine which refers to white and asian. I'm white (middle eastern) myself and I was saying my class has a sizable group of out of staters that are ORM

I got verified 8 days ago and still have not received a secondary. Should I email them about it? All my stats are around the average for Boonshoft.

Got verified on August 4th and still no secondary. I emailed admissions a couple of days ago and they said they're still reviewing primaries and sending secondaries :/
If you think about it, now that you know what the questions are you have more time to edit your essays and have a fast turnaround time! No worrying about making it before the 2-week mark :)

Are they just not going to send any more secondaries this month and wait until September? 2 weeks is crazyyy
