I think waitlist movement is more of a May thing, I have only seen one or two people talk about getting pulled off the waitlist and it was within couple days of getting the waitlist email.

popping up where? also switching prob won’t happen until late april-may once people start making their final choice and decline any additional acceptances. it’s still kinda early for any meaningful waitlist movement

They do about an hour of an info session with a q&a. Interview times then are broken down in [emoji[emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji[emoji[emoji6]][emoji[emoji6]]]][emoji[emoji[emoji6]][emoji[emoji6]]] minute segments and they have two MS [emoji[emoji[emoji6]][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]]] doing a Q&A while you wait for your interview time if you aren’t in the first group. It is also a time to for you to be able to have a little break if you need it. I interviewed with one of their professors, and she was super nice and made the interview feel like an easy conversation rather than an interrogation which helped ease the interview anxiety for me.

Not yet. I’m also placed in Harrogate but want to switch to Knoxville. They also told me that they eventually are able to get most students to their preferred campus. I am hoping to tour apartments/homes in both places when I visit later this month so I can be prepared.

im a first year at another school but one of my best friends currently goes to DCOM and she has told me repeatedly that very few people get switched to Knoxville once it is full. there is a long waitlist and not many will give up their seats at Knox, more seats become available at harrogate

I figured this is more likely the truth. I honestly wished they were just up front about it. Is she at Harrogate or Knoxville? Does she seem to like it otherwise? I'm surprised we haven't heard from any 3/14 interviewers today either. hope this doesn't mean they are pushing it back another week.

I think if your on a waitlist or have another acceptance somewhere your supposed to email and let them know. but if you have been ghosted/ havent interviewed then dont worry about it is what ive gathered from a reddit post.

Unfortunately it’s mostly all waitlists at this point but there will of course be some A’s handed out. Stay hopeful everyone May/June will have good movement. They pulled seventy people off the waitlist last year. With a bigger class size this year, they will likely exceed that number in a few months
