Someone from previous threads stated they did not think this was a hold but just an update to let us know decisions are being made, kinda like a "hey, we didn't forget about you!"

The email we're talking about definitely just feels like a pre-interview invite email for those without one thus far. Was just an update that our applications haven't been forgotten, they are still interviewing candidates through next year, and to send in any updates if we had any.

The verbiage is different than other hold emails I've received. I would not consider "courtesy application update" as a hold.
