From what I remember, they sent me the information or link legit the day before. Don't freak out if you don't hear till then, they haven't forgot about it lol! 🙂

Thanks 🙂 I had my interview today so I just wanted to make sure I didn’t miss anything.

Also I spoke w/admissions and was told they've been sending rejections so it's good to have not heard anything. But I feel like they're actually just ghosting people and not actually sending rejections?
Have you tried sending a letter of intent? Maybe that will help you get a response.

Match Stats from the main campus for those of you interested. Good luck with the rest of the cycle!

Hi, I recently got accepted to Ponce St. Louis. I can't seem to find any stats about the Missouri campus. Does anyone know what grading system there is, what board exam pass rate is, professors/lecture format, etc? I would really appreciate any advice!
Exams are graded but classes are *kind of* pass fail. On your transcript they will be listed P/F/H, where pass is 70+ and H is 90+. However, on residency apps we are both ranked and have grades on there, so not really a true P/F program. Our class is worked to get that removed; however, unclear whether that will happen.

Board exam pass rate is abysmal. Do not rely on the school to help you pass, and I say that as someone who was able to pass step on the first try without any delays. This year 2/3 of the class either failed or had to take a semester off to remediate. It's possible to pass, but it is not the schools doing, it's out of your own sheer willpower and grind.

Professors are mostly great, the small classes are nice. Classroom is flipped, with pre-recorded lectures that you're supposed to watch before coming to class. There was never enough time for this as M1 you're expected to attend every class, and the videos are trash and not board-prep appropriate, even though they're necessary to pass their in-house exams.

Sorry that's not a glowing review. I would still choose to go to this school because I want to be a doctor and beggars can't be choosers, but I don't want anyone going here not knowing what they're getting into, which is poor board prep and lack of support.

Agreed 100%. The older students unfortunately could not have had it worse. No older students to get advice from, brand new staff, and brand new school with a lot of uncertainty. Where things may have gotten better for my class is the fact that we now have M3s to tell us this stuff and mentor us, where as they didn't have any help to get to where they are now, and I know we very much appreciate it. The support is slowly increasing, but when you're in a city with two other established medical school, it's hard to not see what's working and say, "Why aren't we doing that?".

"Beggars and can't be choosers" is the mindset to have and that will keep your expectations realistic. Fortunately, I think more people are starting to understand this as classes continue to come in through shared experiences and experience.

You guys who are coming in, will have a different experience from the M3s, M2s, and current M1s, whether that experience is better or worse, I can't really say it's more individually based.

In reference, to STEP 1, I think I've talked to quite a few in the DMs and said it's all self-prep and here is the evidence.

I emailed them about interviews inquiries and they said they haven’t concluded yet. I finished my secondary in September and no updates since 🙁

I interviewed the second week of Nov and I haven't heard back. I sent an email in regard to something else and they mentioned that they can take up to three months to give a decision 🙁
I still haven't heard back from the second week of October! I feel the pain

Did you guys see they posted in their instagram that they extended their application deadline for the July cohort? What about all the people who interviewed and haven’t heard back yet… lol

I think both MD and DO schools are extending their application deadlines.

Spoke to admissions. Apparently the class is full but they're still interviewing? So I guess it's to now fill the waitlist
last year they interviewed into april or may? I think they will be interviewing more people because the ones accepted might go to other schools.

Hmm interesting. I spoke to admissions on Friday, 4/4 and was told they would still be inviting folks to interview for the next couple of weeks. And that if we hadn't heard back with a rejection yet, then we were still in the running. 🤷‍♀️ But who really knows 😢

I keep getting told that too, seems like we are just being placed in an invisible waitlist because the class is full per admissions on 4/9/25.
Again they said they’re still interviewing, though it seems unfair to those who already interviewed and haven’t even heard anything back
That really sucks.. I'm currently writing my letter of intent and next week will be the 4 week mark post interview but now I'm nervous.

Does anyone have any idea if they were able to give spots to most people on the waitlist?

I’ll comment on this hopefully give you guys a little peace of mind:

First thing,

For those who are accepted congrats on getting your journey started, you’ve beaten out a lot of people for the spot!

For those of you who are waitlisted: continue to reach out and show your eagerness to go to the school along with your values lining up with the school!

For those of you who have interviewed and it’s been a while: the waiting game sucks, but continue to show interest and try to snag an acceptance/waitlist spots because they are definitely up for grabs!!

For those of you waiting to interview: the running theme is continue to reach out, if you’re reaching out to the STL campus please try and reach the PR campus they make the final decision on who enters the classes on STL campus until Fall of 2026! Reach out to them and see what’s going with your application and if there is any chance for interview!

The time between March-May is tough because the “choose your medical school tool is open”, I know personally for me when I interviewed with PHSU and shortly after interviewed at Belmont. PHSU updated my portal/email first and Belmont gave me the call a few weeks later.

Unfortunately, on this tool you can hold your spots at both schools until April 30th when you’re forced to make a choice. Without thinking I held both spots, not realizing that it would be delaying someone else until the previously mentioned date. Schools will only send out a finite amount of acceptances and interviews prior to that date because after that people start to “commit to enroll” or “plan to enroll” and that’s when they have a good estimate for how many more interviews and how many people come off the waitlist. They all use some algorithm that tells how many to send out interviews and acceptances to have too many people committing! People will move off the waitlist most schools bank on people going to other schools so there will be more movement after April!

Go take a look at that link and read more for yourself!

Hang in there!

Not sure but the last time I talked to them.. they gave me a different answer for each time I called them. The first time they said they were still interviewing, the second time they said they were done.

It’s a case of who you speak with

Tried getting ahold of admissions this morning. My call kept getting declined. Finally I got through to admissions, I said hi, the officer said (assuming he was speaking to someone else in the office) "Did you hear that?", then promptly hung up my call. I called again and was put through to another officer who let me know that any correspondence regarding applications would be via email, so I was glad to have that update. However, I was really thrown off by getting my calls declined repeatedly, only to finally get through, then once my voice was heard be hung up on, after hearing an audibly annoyed comment about my call. That interaction hurt to say the least, especially since I am just trying to keep showing interest in the school and be up to date on any changes to my application. Ouch.

They seem to be pretty responsive to my emails. I thought about calling but I was lowkey thinking they were annoyed me with my emails 🥲
