I just applied to their Masters in Medical Science program but now I'm wondering if I should apply to their MD program. The only thing is my last MCAT taken 3 years ago was 502 but it says their average is 499. Would it be worth applying right now (or too late) or should I just go for MSMS. My GPA undergrad was 3.81 and in nursing school was 3.58 so they're decent, I'm just hoping the MSMS program would boost my application but do I really need it?

The stats on MSAR I believe is their PR campus, not sure if it correlate with the MO campus

Standard MMI, no role play, live format with Kira. Def recommend familiar yourself with Kira if you never used it before and test your speaker and mic before hand. Otherwise, just be yourself!
 
So a tad confused....added this school to AMCAS today, 12/12 at 11:20 AM EST to send them my primary app.
Then at 12:04 PM got an email titled "PHSU Secondary Application Received"
But I haven't received an email from them about receiving the Primary App or how to select the St. Louis campus...

Is this typical? I'm assuming the email refers to the AMCAS primary app and not an actual secondary/supplemental app since I haven't received any additional questions.

Grateful for any clarity folks can provide. :happy:

You select the STL campus when they send you a secondary if I remember correctly and your assumption is correct just seems like a typo.

How long is the interview and do they let you choose the date and time?
 
Former MSMS grad here applying this cycle. I received an invitation for interview yesterday for today! I know many have reported MMI but I’m not sure if that is still the case. Also they contacted me this morning to move my interview to an earlier time. Wish me luck future docs

Throw out questions that majority of people got wrong (how many depends on the exam and class, but most I've seen is 7), but no curve, except the comprehensive exams at the end of the semester.

Not many schools curve that I know of (only my personal experience with friends in other schools, so please do more research on it could not be the case at schools you're applying to), but the throwing out of questions seems to be a common trend around most schools.

I submitted all materials back in September. I received an email stating my secondary wasn’t complete early December, so I called to see what the problem was and got it fixed. Next day I received the invite 🙂
 
Hi! they're out of office till tomorrow correct? I interviewed mid nov. and haven't heard anything, also sent some emails and haven't heard back, just wondering if anyone else is on the same boat lol. Thank ya'll and goodluck!
 
Never received interview link or confirmation- where would that be for people who interviewed? I signed up on the portal but it doesn't have any of that info now.
 
Anyone else get the email about notifying when your status is ready and thank you for your patience? The email made my heart drop lol
 
Anyone else have 1 interviewer who was slightly rude and not taking notes at all?

I think they will send you when it's close to the date, but still maybe email them to make sure.

Last year I asked when they would have a decision for my interview in November and they said four months lmao. Granted I got my decision in December so I think they do it sporadically.

Congratulations! I’m still waiting for my decision. It’s been more than a month now so I’m just kind of worried lol
