Hey for pre match acceptances are they all sent out tomorrow, or is it on a rolling basis until before match day? I am a bit confused about this

I am not sure their specific process for sending prematches. But, they said they will fill their entire class with prematches before match day.

Interesting to see over 70 LM for everyone prematched so far.

Congrats on everyone’s prematch!! I interviewed 10/11, was wondering where/who I can send my thank you letter to???

I received an A from TCOM this morning!! My email didn't say anything about a prematch. Not to be neurotic but accepting their offer in the portal does not mean I am committing to them in any way, right? I still have a few pending interview invites to other Texas schools so I just want to make sure this won't be jeopardizing anything else.

An admissions offer before Match Day, for a TMDSAS school, equals a pre-match offer.
You can accept and hold on to any and all offers until Match Day when you will rank all the schools that interviewed you.
It is perfectly fine to keep interviewing for the rest of the interview season.

Are interview invites mostly over since there have been a ton of prematches?
If they follow their past year’s patterns they will continue with more interview invitations through mid December. They have a class size of 230 and interview hundreds more than that.

Hi all! I am super new here. Not sure which forum to put this in, but are there any current students attending TCOM on here that could share a bit about their schedule in a day and in a week for example? Med school is of course a grind I hear, but do you feel supported to succeed in your grades with the pace? Also if you could share a bit about your experiences in anatomy/ OMM/ clinical workshops for OSCEs etc and labs in general? Thanks in advance! Please feel free to message me directly as well or if I need to repost this somewhere more appropriate, let me know as well. Thanks a bunch!

Hey! Im a first year at TCOM rn! First off I definitely feel supported to succeed with grades because the staff and students (1st and 2nd years) are all super supportive and helpful. The pace is very very fast (firehose analogy) but a lot of the things you can do on your own time. Tests are about every week and a half or two weeks. There are some required classes but a lot of studying is just watching prerecorded lectures and recorded live lectures which you have the option to go to in person. I like going in person when I can because I like the group discussions but 80% of the class watch it later. I have really liked my experiences with all of the clinical experiences and labs. Its important to stick to your personal schedule you set for yourself or you can get behind. I think with clinical stuff its all about what you put into it. If you treat it like a study tool and use it to help you with learning it will be super beneficial but if you treat it like just something else to check off, you wont have a good time. Feel free to message me if you have more questions!

Is this pre match acceptance binding? I interviewed at two more schools and do not want to limit my options this early?

You can accept any and all offers and compare the schools, then rank them for Match Day
So when match day comes, if I prematch into another school and I rank it higher, I would automatically go to that school, and this acceptance will be revoked (and vice versa).
