Do we know when the TRUST committee and EXCOM will meet next?
Nobody really knows but them. My guess is either tomorrow afternoon (depending on how many Seattle interviews they have) or next Monday ~ Friday.

They had a wave last year on the 17th. I’m guessing this year will likely follow that trend and we’ll either hear something next Friday the 10th or the subsequent one on the 17th 😣😣 we’re getting close guys
Yeah there might be one more wave of A/SUC/R and then final decisions and formation of waitlist at the beginning of feb.

My neuroticism is showing here so apologies but looking at the last SDN threads and the past years' interview dates, I've noticed that a week or so after the Seattle cohort finishes interviewing, there is a lot of As, Rs and waitlist positions show up on the threads. I assume that way less people are interviewing for the other sites (e.g. Montana) so we don't hear from them on SDN.

So I assume that next week or after we'll see people who interviewed for Seattle get decisions before the EXCOM moves onto interviewing TRUST/non-TRUST people for the other sites.
Thank you that you continue to provide input and help others on this thread despite getting your A already! I find you to be an honorable person my friend!
Agreed! You have been incredibly helpful throughout this entire process @stew_md!

Have any Spokane interviewees (1/21-1/23) gotten the scheduling email yet?

IS A!! Was all the way asleep when I got the call last night 🤣. After 4 SUC emails and ceaseless worrying, so honored, relieved and excited to have a spot. Best wishes for everyone still awaiting news!
What a relief that has to be, congrats!! I wonder if you and strongbranch had the same excom with such a late call lol

Congrats! Was this for the Seattle cohort?

Congratulations guys! I assume it's pretty unorthodox for someone to call that late so the odds of it being the same EXCOM is pretty high haha.

When does your secondary portal show your acceptance? Or do people get an email right after the call?

Congratulations to everyone being accepted, you are all so very deserving!!!

I am just curious, is the EXCOM committee of 20 people the ones in charge of deciding on who gets accepted across all cohorts and states?

I wonder how they are doing this because I still haven't heard anything from the Seattle cohort :/

Are they just going down the list of all candidates and finalizing their "points"? Idk how they would make the ranking list if they do it that way. Or if not hearing back means it's a rejection?

I’m ranked <15 on the Seattle cohort AL, does anyone have any idea when it starts to move? I know based on previous years I’m probably in the clear but I’m still gonna be a nervous wreck until it’s official 😬

Most of the movement will happen in April/May when people have to commit to enroll, perhaps earlier. Applicants are eligible to commit to enroll next month and that may cause some movement.

Congrats on everyone who recieved their A or AL! I'm sure if you are high up on the AL that is practically an A anyways! They usually pick alot off the list each year historically..

They said the committee meets on Friday and it can take 1-2 days to finalize so maybe early next week

I feel like that was my WORST interview yet I feel like I was rambling for so much of it
I had a very below average interview performance with them (lots of rambling + answers which I realized afterwards were not the best) and was accepted a week later. Try not to worry too much, UW cares a lot about mission fit. Plus, I'm convinced it's all random anyway lol

I had the same exact experience LOL - lots of rambling + stressed-out answers during interview, was extremely sick during my interview and felt feverish/nauseous...was accepted still. It's all random with a sprinkling of mission fit

When is the spokane EXCOM meeting? I heard it is typically on Fridays. Do you think we’ll hear back next week?
