On their website they say they interview 650 applicants and extend around 300 offers - typically you would think the 'extended offers' includes waitlist, but given the broader acceptance stats, that's less than 50%. So, that might be what you're looking at (avg IS OOS ~46%).

im IS and I had sent in an interest letter before receiving an II essentially saying they're my top choice and would go. After the interview I just sent super short thank you letters. I guess I'll see whether or not that works. If anybody else also have that experience I would love to know.

They give names of the interviewers in the portal but I just asked admissions if they can pass along my letter and they agreed.

I know merit scholarships won’t be released for awhile, but does anyone know if they give them to OOS students? I saw in last year’s thread it looked like mostly if not all in state students.

I have some other acceptances (very grateful!) but could see myself going here if I were to get a scholarship, so I just want to know how probable that is.
