I got an OOS II yesterday! My interview week is august 21-27.

same as @CurledAlarmist mentioned: virtual could be any of those days 9am-8pm or one in-person day on the 27th at 12-4:30. I chose virtual bc they say it does not matter and for me OOS it is a lot cheaper and easier and I have my senior year classes starting that week

They don’t review them in order of date received. They haven’t opened mine yet and I submitted early July.

No, I am a first time applicant. I meant my first of 2 from Buffalo. They do 2 separate days and times for 2 individual interviews

Wow. That is the first time I have ever heard that. So if you are not in the Buffalo area, you have to drive/fly into town and then stay overnight to be on campus for 2 separate days?

No. One day if in person

Sorry, I realize I could have been a lot clearer. This is my first cycle applying, and for virtual interviews, they give 2 separate one-on-one interviews on 2 different days/times over a week. The in-person interview is just one day but I chose virtual because I am OOS.

Its not mandatory, and has no effect on admission chances i believe

Very laid back, super friendly environment. Interviews were about an hour each. Tour was about what you would expect, you get to see some lecture halls and different facilities.

I am wondering the same thing. I have heard from the other schools around Buffalo, but not UB.

No I am from the city but lots of people from my community moved there including my family members and I have a really good support system there.

Oh ok. Make sure you make that clear to them. Half the class last year was from Western New York.

You already submitted the primary, why not? Your chances are 0% if you don’t submit the secondary. Go for it.

I’m pretty sure they reviewed my app a week ago. Was hoping i’d be in the next round of interviews.

Because I submitted my secondary in early July and they just opened my file last week.

I really don't think there is a way to know until you get an interview. I received no communication between submitting my secondary and getting my II.
