Just wait and you may be pleasantly surprised. I certainly didn’t expect anything yet I’m happy to be joining them. What matters is you got in somewhere. I know someone on their 3rd going on 4th cycle cause they turned down their TUCOM acceptance in hopes of going to a MD school in Virginia. Who knows, the CTE deadline just passed so you maybe next in line.
DO or MD you’ll be a fine physician as will the rest of us, and WL season is still not entirely done as some have said
i respect your opinion but I stand fully by mine too, I am not disappointed in my fate as I was luckily accepted elsewhere, but I am let down by this school because it treats its alumni terribly, haiders had to wait months longer (I waited over 4 months) compared to normal applicants (usually 1-2 months from cycletrack) just to recieve less total As because the outdated haider program only reserves around 25 seats (12 for us since the other 13 come from EAP). of those 12, UCR maintains a slightly higher number of female matriculants than males (~60%), meaning that 12 is still not entirely accurate depending on gender. not to mention, the UCR waitlist does move, but more so for non-haiders than for haiders for the same reason i just wrote above. so its like you said, because accepted haiders still have to accept or decline, its an overall slower process and just an extra hurdle that makes no sense for a school that should show some appreciation for applicants who are already apart of the UCR family, already work in the IE, and/or already have worked with the school of medicine. if their mission is truly to serve the IE, this would make the most sense. ultimately we can agree to disagree, and my opinion is simply just mine. at the end of the day, congrats to those who have been accepted, and best of luck to those still waiting. and hopefully we get a better system for applicants

There’s always hope until the first day of class but I would reapply since now it seems to just be replacing any seats one by one that might drop. I wouldn’t want to reapply too late in the cycle. Stay on the waitlist though!! Good luck
I feel the same way. Seems like everything is starting to slow down. I wouldn't be surprised if the class is full at this point 😭

the class is full maybe a couple people drop by orientation and they take that amount from the waitlist
They informed me on 6/8 that the class "was not finalized"
People are still joining the incoming class discord so I’m not sure. Also regarding Roseman, the GroupMe is at 58 people. One person got off the waitlist there yesterday. Of the 58 members, 4 people including me are attending other institutions. At least you got in to a medical school my friend. If you get off the waitlist somewhere then that’s great. I know the uncertainty sucks regarding where you’ll be, but it’s truly out of your control at this point. Just do what you can to relax and enjoy what time you have left before school begins.
