I’d like to hear what the people voting for Lumi,

@WonderingStudent @alissa14 @WorthlessOxygen and @alleycat03 think of the OG Bloodhound claim.

@Chaostrodon if not self pressing where would you vote?
I have thought about this more. I’ve tried the lying thing and then trying to circle back to the truth. As you all know, it has never gone well for me. I feel like this is what may be happening with Lumi. So I am inclined to believe they are finally telling the truth about their claim.

So,

Unyeet lumi
Yeet genny

I feel worse about genny than MK and we’ve already discussed why voting out chaos is a bad idea at this time

This pings me more than that initial question did, honestly. Particularly the last part.
To expand on this now that I'm home, the end part of that post (and the one before it, but to a lesser degree) reminded me of something that I've noticed True does when he's wolfing. He did it toward me in Lit, and he did it toward AM in Globe, where he'll ask someone either what he should do or almost ask them for permission to do something. It caught my attention a lot in Lit because he had essentially asked me if it was okay for him to stay on a genny vote, when genny was one of my strongest village reads.

Thank you for this, it's really helpful for organizing my own thoughts.

Do you think my genny vote is a big mistake? I'm getting on a plane in about 15 minutes and so I'll need to lock my vote in, and I'm growing more anxious about voting for her. I genuinely have a very hard time reading her, and no one else seems to find her suspicious this game.

I got similar feelings from the two posts here, though less in the "asking permission to do something" way than this post from Lit.

But also, he KNOWS that I've found this to be a wolf tell in the past for him because we had talked about how I wolf read him hard and fast in Lit vs village reading him pretty strongly in Mountains and what tipped me off ... so like, wouldn't a scum!True be more aware of doing it going forward, since he'd made a point to ask me about it in hopes of improving his scum play?

WO2 and mkg are here until I see more from them and come to a read either way. Of the 2, more concerned about mkg right now.
Exact neutral or wolf side of neutral? What pinged you, if the latter?

WO2 is neutral neutral, I don't feel like I've seen enough content from them yet to move them one way or another.

mkg is concerning me a bit and would be more on wolf side of neutral.

The only time I can think of that you lied was as alpha during the casino game, did you ever do it as a villager though?

Brief research trip pls, but im in msp and got lost for a while but its fine, will check in soon
Research, huh? Was it a field study conducted from shorty and Zenge's bushes?

Well I’m willing to let go of my jester theory and all since I’ve finally looked at the role list. So I’m willing to believe wonder for now. Honestly I realize I go for Genny a lot on D1 when we play together so I might try this instead for now

Unyeet chaos
Yeet lawpy

If people are actually willing to yeet Lumi I’m also open to going there, but I do realize it’s kinda a dick move since this is their first game on SDN

Can you expand on your Lawpy read? You've only even mentioned him one other time, per the search.

Looking back, I wasn’t a fan of his interactions about wonder being the goo. He was suspicious of wonder which is fine, I mean I was too, but it came of as if he very defensive of lumi, which I found odd.

So I'll turn your own question around on you then, since this was your only other mention of him - do you think he and Lumi are the same faction?

You say this like it comes as news to you, do you expect something different from Zenge normally on D1?
No, I don't expect anything different, but I am not sure he has ever actually explained why he typically lurks on D1.

*If*, and that's a big if, Chaos is telling the truth about his aff this time, then voting him is more detrimental than good.
I get that this is because voting him would switch him to scum, but how is that worse than say, waiting for a vig shot? Would at least be confirmed scum at that point, right? And the alternative is believing him after being caught in a lie.

why are you unyeeting chaos?
Because I wanted to test out a vote on Lawpy, and unfortunately I can’t vote twice.

I think that is certainly possible.

Because as it stands currently, if the Judas claim is true and we don't vote him today, at least as I understand it, his alignment is with town. I have no idea if there's a vig in this game or not, but I'd rather wait 1 night on the off chance that there is, which would resolve the claim without putting us in a situation of nearly guaranteed having to spend 2 vote cycles on him.

Judas switches to mafia alignment if voted out, but doesn't gain any kill powers, so there's really minimal incentive for other scum factions to kill an outted Judas, if there are factions other than mafia. They'd be much more likely to leave it as town's problem, IMO.

If there's a town-aligned vig out there, there's zero reason for them not to shoot him overnight to resolve him. And if not, then he needs to be voted at some point. I just don't think it's the best vote today.

Can never be too careful in a multiball setup 😉

I found his reaction to Wonder's claim odd and his reasoning for scum!Wonder being likely in this scenario really stretchy.
I don’t see the scum motive for it, though. Bringing it up to sow discord, doubt, gain village points for independent thought, sure. But the stubborn insistence on it despite getting flak and no one biting would be weird for scum imo

Even if there’s not a town aligned vig, an alternative faction such as wolves or aliens may want to kill him as he doesn’t help contribute to their wincon

Yeah, but it's not an active threat the way another killing faction would be, so I don't imagine it would be a top priority for them to take out.

Further down the possibilities would have been a Lawpy/Wondy team where he was doing some distancing.
Hmmm ironically this one somehow actually feels the most plausible to me due to how he went about it with so much resistance lol. But still leaning it much more as a villagey thing, especially with the decent likelihood of having no multiple-member scum factions

Understood. But the end result is still the same? What I'm struggling to understand is that we either rely on a night vig tonight or end up having to vote down the line. If he is truly Judas then night vig can still shoot him or know that we will vote him out tomorrow. Either way, we end up voting for him at some point and/or using a vig shot.

In addition, voting him out today essentially wastes a voting cycle since IF telling the truth, he won’t be eliminated.

I'm gonna do this and sleep on it

vote genny
very interesting, one of her posts last night was a bit odd, but it wasn't the post shorty and Vis were referring to

Dang I walk away for a few hours to play Super Mario Bros with anthony and I come back to 6 more pages. Nobody yell at me when I skim and miss details mkay

Uhhh Deluxe U I think? The one for switch!
I have Super Mario Bros too!!

See post above. I also basically talked myself out of it and put Dubz back into villagey neutral. It feels safer that way
icky, I don't really like this explanation because it doesn't make much sense to have her as a strong village read off of just that to begin with.

I have a hard time differentiating tongue-in-cheek-goofy Lawpy tinfoils and perspective-slip-TMI Lawpy tinfoils. Is there a trick to it?
Uh when have you ever played with wolf!lawpy? I haven't even played with wolf!lawpy, as it's been a longgggg time since he wolfed.
Also i’m curious why zenges is pretty much village read by a lot of people. Is it tone? Because i have him in my neutrals currently
He's not one of my village reads. He's neutral. idk if he's been really village read by "a lot of people" either.

what if he's a gladiator? or mafia vig? i don't think leaving him alive is necessarily harmless to town.
I am not entirely sure with how Judas works if he can use any abilities pre-conversion. My assumption is no, but I could be wrong

Right but the same would happen if/when we are forced to decide down the line too

i don't think we should assume he's telling the truth about judas. sounds like something a wolf vig would say to get a shot off.

what if he's a gladiator? or mafia vig? i don't think leaving him alive is necessarily harmless to town.
I'm not arguing that it's harmless to town. We can what-if to death about what he could be instead of the latest claim and I can't refute it because I don't know.

I was going to say that I don't think the end result is the same because if we vote out a scum today, then we're in a better situation heading into tomorrow even if we have to vote him, but I don't feel like I can really argue that because without knowing how many killing factions are in the game, we very well could be worse off tomorrow if there are multiple town deaths overnight.

Then again, scum can kill each other too, although they never seemed to help town out by doing that last year despite my fervent hoping for it.

I’m super in my head when I play WW regardless of affiliation. And I regret starting off with a strong Dubz read. It was purely based on her discards and aff claim which in hindsight, should not have given me as strong of a read as it did. Idk what else to say. I am not trying to use an excuse but I think you forget that I have not really played much recently and my most recent outings have not gone “well.” I am trying my best.

At the start. I was tempted to go with an alien affiliation for the fun of it but decided against it because I really just wanted to try and play as best village as i can. So if I’m ever over-explainy or sensitive, it’s because I’m really trying to not get yeeted early. It’s been a long time since I’ve made it to end game and I want to try.

And even as I’m typing this I’m in my head for all the possible bad reactions I could get from posting it. But whatever. I said what I said
