Why do you think this is unlikely? I do agree with your point about it being possible they did genuinely do some fancy play to try to catch scum but are also scum, but that’s more of a reason to neutral read them than scum read them

That I’m gonna have to have a word with Samac bc her armor isn’t working. But in all seriousness, I’m not a fan of any of the googaters, especially Lumi. Dubz has said things more eloquently, but they sound rather huffy to me and combative. The most important thing for a villager to do is to, ya know, sound village so they can get read correctly and I just can’t see them as village right now. I’m not sure what to make of you kinda defending lumi by going at wonder, and shorty’s defense of lumi, although some of that could be because she’s the reason Lumi is playing. Zenge sounds fine, I’d like to hear more from alley, and of course Genny is always sus 😉 I know Alissa and others have spread sheets for roles, so I’m looking forward to those.

Mechanically I think it makes most sense for wonder to be telling the truth about using the goo card for aff. It's a silly thing for most (all?) affiliations to use for ability. So unless her third card was somehow worse than goo and miller, I lean towards believing her.

In a thread content-based sense though I don't really have enough from her to get a read.

And there's always the possibility of further shenanigans but do I want to fall into that pit yet? No.

I really didn't understand what Lumi was going for at first, and even now that I've research the role, I don't completely buy that they are telling the truth. If Lumi really is the bloodhood, scum are probably going to kill them soon OR Lumi leads us to a wolf/mafia/alien/whatever and we have to decide to trust them (a liar) later or not.

But also, he KNOWS that I've found this to be a wolf tell in the past for him because we had talked about how I wolf read him hard and fast in Lit vs village reading him pretty strongly in Mountains and what tipped me off ... so like, wouldn't a scum!True be more aware of doing it going forward, since he'd made a point to ask me about it in hopes of improving his scum play?

Well I’m willing to let go of my jester theory and all since I’ve finally looked at the role list. So I’m willing to believe wonder for now. Honestly I realize I go for Genny a lot on D1 when we play together so I might try this instead for now

I don't get the Lawpy vote, even though I agree that his reaction to the goo debacle was a bit odd. idk if it is worth voting for though? Like that didn't seem off enough to warrant a vote imo.

I’m super in my head when I play WW regardless of affiliation. And I regret starting off with a strong Dubz read. It was purely based on her discards and aff claim which in hindsight, should not have given me as strong of a read as it did. Idk what else to say. I am not trying to use an excuse but I think you forget that I have not really played much recently and my most recent outings have not gone “well.” I am trying my best.

At the start. I was tempted to go with an alien affiliation for the fun of it but decided against it because I really just wanted to try and play as best village as i can. So if I’m ever over-explainy or sensitive, it’s because I’m really trying to not get yeeted early. It’s been a long time since I’ve made it to end game and I want to try.

And even as I’m typing this I’m in my head for all the possible bad reactions I could get from posting it. But whatever. I said what I said

People have had concerns about how Lumi approached things but “huffy and combative” is a slightly different way of interpreting it than has been said before, and I can see why that would sound wolfy when focusing on how villagers should be motivated to try to find and cooperate with fellow villagers.

Also liked her noting alley as “someone she needs to hear more from” instead of just parroting the same people (wo2, could also have said stagg) other people have been calling out as needing to hear more from.

If I remember correctly , mafia night vigilante cannot use their nk on the same night as a mafia kill , so mafia vig is effectively just mafia goon (maybe one of the hosts can confirm on this?)

I don't remember all the games they've played together, but from a quick search of the ones I do remember:

She made no attempt to read him in the SDN game, from what I can tell, there are only 2 mentions of him at all in her ISO.

In England, she initially read him incorrectly and voted him, but then eventually came around to the correct read on him after he posted a reads list.

It appears she did not read him as wolfy in Bioshock.

She correctly read him immediately in GGoats.

I know they played Worst Idea together, but they were both scum (of different factions) and I'm pretty sure alissa went down D1 so I'm not sure that game would be that helpful to look at.

@alissa14 are there more recent games you've played with Zenge than the ones I listed here? I feel like I'm missing some.

According to Lumi's logic, branding three town roles is not likely to the extent that they acted disbelieving. HOWEVER...
Lumi discarded vanillager (1 town role).
Lumi claims bloodhound as their ability (only town bloodhound on the list. 2nd town role.)
So the third role, from which they would have to take affiliation... ???

You’re misunderstanding the statistics. No one set of rands in so unlikely it should be disbelieved, but when you repeat the experiment over and over (16 times), things should tend towards having the distribution you expect.

That's why my vote is currently there, because Judas sounds like *exactly* the role I would say I had if I was caught in a lie on another role. It perfectly dissuades us from yeeting them.

The probability of it happening however many times is quite similar whether it happened to them or not. For example, probability of it happening at least 7 times is 1.53%, and the conditional probability of that (>=7) happening once you know it’s happened at least once is 3.87%

Well sure, but I don't know if we can compare D1 of last game (post mayor vote) to D1 of this game. I'd say he played more like village!Zenge overall given how unique his wincon was. Apples to oranges.
