If you were earnestly voting for your wolfreads, could you please walk us through the progression of your votes?
you need to be more specific, yesterday i was clear i’m going for beans, barky, apop, CG, with later points that you might be possibly misdirecting me and raes being problematic near the end of day. zenge didn’t feel good but i said i wanted to be generous due to manator relations but i still voted and accelerated his wagon a bit

what if i follow 🤔

I'm going to need you to be a little less freaked out

yeet zenge

Okay what am I at, fruit spurs, barks, and zenge?

This is a lot.

hmm, something interesting's going on

let's try this then

unyeet CG
yeet zenges

@Animal Midwife @kaydubs @Dr. ForgotToFlush
@WildZoo

the multiball aspect can explain why barky is contradicting points made by spurs, rae, and alissa on me

just responding to this because i want to stop this misunderstanding

i don’t care about facing the heat

what i don’t like is being attacked in a coordinated fashion out of nowhere for seemingly contradictory reasons
I really think it is far-fetched to think scum would all jump on you for the same reasons. It also isn't out of nowhere for me, since I mentioned this first yesterday morning. But I digress.

I would be specifically interested in your progression in the first and last hours of the day yesterday. The timestamps are available in rae's mini-ISO.

My exact point is that I am aware of how you have historically played village and how you have historically played wolf. Am I supposed to just forever assume you're going to keep wolfing the exact same way? This is why I took the time to actually look at the progression of your votes at the beginning of the day, and if your explanation above is that you vote your wolfreads, then how exactly did you have a wolfread on Barky at 9:14pm or SAR at 9:21pm right after thread open?
ok i had no context to your approach since i was fighting contradictory attacks on me

the start of day were random votes

as the day progresses, the votes became serious

I think I will accept this explanation for now. I don't know that you walking me through vote-by-vote is really going to be beneficial.

Apologies if you've said this elsewhere--what specifically have you found sketchy about me, rae, and Barky that led you to wanting to start wagons on us? What, if anything, have you found sketchy about Zenge that made you open to the idea of his wagon?

it’s not really the same reasons

barky made a false claim i focused primarily on her with no regard to anyone else

that contradicts the cycling of votes in end of day rae mentioned and the implied CG focus brought up by others

Because you and zenge have weird alignments that I don't like.

Also, this is potentially multi-ball. POE does not mean I think everyone is in the same faction.
Yeah but you can't have it both ways, where you're "uncomfortable with how Fruit and I engaged with each other" as a reason to scum read us, but then also fall back on "well this is multiball you could be different factions".

The implication of your reasoning for sussing us because of how we interacted with each other is that we would be of the same faction.

So when Fruit points out that that doesn't make any sense given his push of me, you can't fall back on the idea that we could be different factions, and still try and hold the same argument that you did before.

Sorry, I was off trying and failing to enroll a dog into a trial.

I mean, she made a single comment that she was maybe sus of me and Dubz and like one follow up post, but hasn't followed through much beyond that. I feel like you're giving her a lot of credit here.

For both you and @GoSpursGo, in my experience, brand new nooblets are more likely to be sus of people with a lot of posts/threadpull and of people sussing them, just as a baseline. In thinking about it now, I'm not sure that I've played with a new nooblet who was wolfing early out (if I have, it's been a while and I don't remember it) - but I know when I played with PSV's sister in her first game, it was super similar to this. I think it's *slightly* less likely that a wolf!nooblet (assuming they have packmates) is encouraged to have me or Dubz as their ONLY sus, just because both of us are difficult pushes and it's not likely to be fruitful. On the other hand, both of us have been guilty before of giving someone village points for trying to push us, so they could be advised of that, I guess, I just don't think it's super likely. So those things make me want to give some slight town points, personally, but like I said before, I understand Spurs' take on it as well.
@kitzsuna, you liked this post. How do YOU feel about rae's read of you?

you because i worried i was getting misdirected somewhere and made a wrong read, i initially vibed with you on beans sounding off, and barky’s vote on you without explanation but vibez was bizarre

but then reading followup comments from samac and others, i began wondering if my read on you was off and i’m getting misled

rae was at times ok but near end of day came off as strange and concerning with cryptoc behavior that bothered me, i wasn’t paying much heed to zenge’s push, but shorty and samac feeling off about rae made me think something was off

barky made a strange comment of not village reading alissa to seemingly pacify shorty’s discomfort, and her response to psv in that same quote i linked pages ago was off, and her vote on you didn’t sit right

zenges was in fact looking increasingly sketchy due to the inertia i noticed in his posts, votes, and behavior

i think i might be getting misdirected by zenge, so i'll think further
What do you mean?
maybe it's recency bias talking, but i expected village zenges to be a lot more assertive and pushy that i'm not seeing here. i'm seeing a lot of inertia in his posts, that reluctance to vote for CG until the very end is actually what made him look a bit more villagey to me, but i feel that can be a false signal
i mentioned this earlier btw

There are, uh... 43 pages 🙂 I appreciate you walking me through this in one concise post.

I am still unsure how I feel about the progression of votes, but I'm at least open to the idea I'm over-reading them. Your logic here seems reasonable.

i get it, sorry i’m on phone and coming home from a crappy day so i was focusing my efforts on pushing back and not so much on digging posts from before. sorry for the snippy behavior (to you and everyone here), i tend to get pretty blunt unintentionally

I don't think you have anything to worry about in that regard, your posts have sounded reasonable to me.

Go see how 2021 dubz reacted to being wagoned in CYO II if you need to feel better about yourself

I was grilling you pretty hard. You have nothing to apologize for.

I hope your evening gets better!

I mean im 100% village derp but i can see your reasoning on being sus of me or not totally convinced im village/town
I don't think I phrased that in a way that you understood what I was asking.

rae is townreading you. Part of rae's justification for that read is that she feels you're "easily poking at high posters," which I said I thought was giving you a lot of credit, which I meant as I thought it was giving you more credit than your posts really warranted. It's more of a reflection on rae than on you, IMO, but I'd like to know how you're reading rae.

Oh, i mean i can only speak for myself but i do think its more credit than i deserve. Im really not seeing the reads that yall are, although high posters do tend to have my attention more (since there are…more posts)

Also fully admitting im on mobile and not going back to dig through peoples posts. I like listening to other peoples reasonings for votes

Edit: reasonings for votes and or reads

samac, this was the vote count when you said this--are you saying that it feels like there was a pack saving Zenge? Or are you including me, dubz, and rae in this discussion? Or do you no longer feel like the activity felt like there was a wolf on the board
It felt like zenge or CG was actively trying to be saved by someone. The wagons didn’t feel static. I don’t know how I feel now though

I'll post some legacy reads a little closer to night end.
I agree that something weird was going on with the wagons last night in general - genny and fruit flash switching actually doesn't concern me too too much for the moment bc I have seen them both do that before. But there's still something fishy about the whole situation.
When have you seen genny do that?

Alright, unless there is a scum faction that thinks I'm other-scum, I think it's very unlikely I need to leave a legacy tonight. Nevertheless, it appears I have made giving them part of my MO, so here are my thoughts.

Village lean (note I'm realizing that I'm using "I liked their line of questioning" a lot, so that is probably a verbose way of saying "vibes")
@Clem J --as I previously said, I thought his snap-reading players early in the day yesterday felt natural and like v!Clem
@alissa14 --seems very engaged in questioning from an earnest perspective of meeting and understanding new players. Nothing has felt off.
@apoptosis09 --personally I think they were actively trying to change playstyle to not get auto-scum-read again, and playing different seemed to feel off to other players. I've never seen w!apop but this felt like a phenotype of village that could exist.
@potentialsheltervet --also generally like the lines of questioning, felt similar to previous V!PSV.
@supershorty --questioning also seemed very genuine, worked overdrive to track down old reads and compare to current. I don't put anything past such an experienced player, but it would be an awful lot of work to put in to create a smokescreen for a scum player.
@beans2020 --also feels like a nice, relaxed line of questioning. I still am not sure what @_rae_ meant by "the beans thing"

Neutral:
@SARdoghandler --more of a null than anything for now
@genny --I had in my village lean, but as noted above the flash flip at the end deserves scrutiny
@WildZoo --I'll be honest... I've skipped most of their posts in order to catch up in a reasonable timeframe. Another player where I feel like there is a wide range of play styles that could fit either scum or village. Will just have to watch
@_rae_ --I went back and forth on putting her here or in POE, and I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt that yesterday was just a very busy day. Picking up the pieces after the fact, I don't really disagree with her reads that much, though I think she got flack for limited reasoning.
@samac --I also went back and forth on putting her here or in POE, and landed on I think yesterday was super busy so I can't really get a solid read yet. Something felt off, but that can happen when someone is busy. But I'm watching.

POE:
@kitzsuna --I do not think she was derpcleared, and I don't like that her reads have basically been high volume players and players who suss'd her first.
@Zenge142 --Because he tickled my nose at the beginning of the day in a way that led to me voting for him, and nothing changed my opinion.
@Barkley13 --Don't like that they literally never gave a reason for their vote yesterday. I know we did a lot of ****posting, but that isn't an unreasonable bar to expect someone who is village to clear.
@fruitsalad --I don't think the voting noise at the beginning of the day was necessarily benign, and even beyond the 8:59p vote, the voting noise in the 8pm hour I'm not sure is benign
Blechy

the barky votes in there are interesting. especially since barky has not been super active on thread (relatively speaking compared to other players). how do you feel about a potential fruit/barky pack?
I don’t think fruit would have voted Baely if paired

How do you feel about this now that they've interacted a bit?

I think it's unlikely given the somewhat one-sided spat where Barky said that fruit had focused on her all day and fruit got a bit testy about that. It felt less like partnered distancing and more like genuine frustration from fruit at a mischaracterization (and I agree with him that it was).

IT WAS A LOT, DUBZ.

No.
I'm not asking you to read every post, but none of them? Most of my posts are quite short.

Also, that's kind of interesting. Lots of discussion happening in the last several hours but you gleaned no additional thoughts from it?
