congrats to those who got accepted! did you guys get an email or phone call? or did you just check online?

60 days after complete and rejected 🙁

3.2 GPA, 29 MCAT

~200 hours non clinical
~250 hours clinical combined (shadowed 1 DO and worked with another DO)

I'm sorry. Keep your head up, the cycle is still young...

Waitlisted. No love from this school I guess. From what I gathered, waitlist at this school is very close to a rejection. Am I misinformed?

when did you interview? and how did you find out you got wait listed did you have to call or did they email you?

Starting to lose hope here. No status update in the past 60 days for me 🙁.

Same for me. Did you every contact them to see what your status was? I was considering doing it today but I got overloaded with work.

No I haven't yet. I'll probably wait a little while longer because it seems like most people get updates within the time frame. If a month or so passes then I'll probably call.

Is it too late to apply here? I submitted AACOMAS 9/22. 505 MCAT GPA 3.5
probably depends on how long aacomas takes. i submitted around august 24 and i think they verified me september 25. it took a while. just submitted my secondary to des moines today.

They said 4-6 weeks to validate at this time.

This may be a dumb question, but does the school provide an area for interviewees to keep their luggage? I'll have to check out of my hotel early and won't have a car.

Yes, there is a large closet in the admissions office.

II ! It looks like the only interview slot available is this Thursday ? Does anyone know if they add more days? Not sure I can figure out getting there three days from now

Yeah I got my II last week and was barely able to snag flight with about 6 transfers lol.

I was just accepted this morning, interviewed on 9/24!
First acceptance, gonna let me take off a large chunk of my list since DMU is pretty high up there for me.:prof:

Anyone gotten II after 60 days?

Oh I'm going on 70+ days lol I emailed them a week or so ago when I was 60+ and they told me to wait till the end of the week (last week). My buddy told me he got an II at 70+. So apparently if we aren't rejected or waitlisted there's still hope

I just received an interview invite way past the 60 day mark (around ~70 days). For everyone who has been waiting, don't give up hope!

Any fellow SDNers interviewing here tomorrow with me!?

Just interviewed here. Honestly, this is an amazing school. If a collaborative student/faculty atmosphere is important to you I can't imagine a better school to attend. Top notch, modern facilities, curriculum is changing but in the hour that the Dean came to spend with us he explained the changes (ultrasound proficiency, surgical skills prep, patient encounters, system based curriculum etc) and it's all sounds spot on. Though dmu is over a century old, they're changing to fit modern medicine. Other than the weather, (I'm from Orange County) I really can't think of anything negative to say about this place. Omm program is legit and all the faculty I spoke with seemed very eager to help answer all my questions and demonstrated a passion for helping the 1st and 2nd year students. This school just shot to the top of my list in an unexpected but amazing way. Would most likely attend here if accepted.
