also considering we had a robinhood and wolf sheriff, I’m guessing there’s a good chance we might have a Sherlock and moriarty wolf counterpart, or a Harry Potter and voldemort counterpart.

I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure it’s been used every night except for the nights that were cancelled.

I’m almost certain that Barks said something about a Harry Potter character stealing from her.

Ugh back to schoolwork. Will answer any questions and post my finished reads in a few hours

I did not know that, because Dubz and I didn’t role reveal to each other, though we did trust each other and I was reading her as village as we talked about the game. Most of our PMs were about PhDs and research though.

Mods give cover roles??? Do you just have to ask nicely for them? Because I remember us coming up with our own cover roles in wolf chat in Bioshock and mine sucked, I just never got a chance to share it because I was yeeted while I was silenced.

Sometimes mods provide cover roles. Depends on the game set up.

I didn't have any candy for the restriction. I think the candy silences and it's a side effect of using the item? My guess.

Candy is someone’s PR. It was used on me, AM, and now LIS the flavor is we chat about everything we know and then halfway through the day cycle you get a message saying you’re feeling ill and then you’re silenced for the next night+day cycle.

Yes this is what I'm worried about, and I would like to know the role name before I decide if I want to move. I never thought of innocent child being an ability you have to activate but I guess it could be

General Setup & Rules
  • Unless otherwise specified, vote close will be at 9pm Eastern and night close will be at 9am Eastern. Days will last 36 hours and Nights will last 12 hours. The first cycle of the game will not follow this timeline. Cycle timing is subject to change without notice.
  • No screenshots. No direct quoting of mod PMs.
  • No communication about the game is allowed outside of mod-defined communication channels. Please add me to all player-created PMs.
  • There is no participation requirement, but minimums and maximums may be imposed at moderator discretion.
  • Ties will be resolved via player mechanics.
Special Mechanics
  • This game contains a role class modifier mechanic. Roles with special class modifiers are associated with unique properties that typically apply to all roles in a class. A description of the major role class mechanic -- the Monarchy -- will be delineated in a following post. Some player roles have multiple class modifiers; some roles have none.
  • We will start this game on a Prime Minister election cycle. The Prime Minister elected during this first cycle will be given special abilities -- essentially granting the role a unique role class. The Prime Minister election will end at 9pm Eastern tonight, at which point we will enter a short 12 hour Night Zero (N0). During N0, items will become activated and certain types of abilities will be locked. After N0 concludes at 9am tomorrow morning, we will proceed with a 36-hour day and 12-hour night cycle.
  • Multiple times throughout the game, there will be unstoppable, historic game-wide events. These planned, mod-triggered events will be clearly delineated from player-triggered events.
  • In general, you may choose one other player in your location to communicate with via PM. Choose your companions wisely, because unless they (or you) die or are relocated, you will not be able to open additional PMs. Exceptions exist.

(Put differently, you're focusing on the silencing part of it, but that's not why I would assume it was used.)

Coventry is 60 miles from Cambridge. It makes sense that that’s the group Coventry would end up in. It’s about 100 miles from Yorkshire or London.
I just don’t get the innocent child thing. It doesn’t make much sense.

The main issue with genny has been certain things she's done that seems village, like didn't she make a tie with mkg in it?

I have explained my reasoning so.many.times, but OK, here we go again. From a strategy perspective I was torn on which of the 3.
Keep in mind I didn't have a big wolf read on them, except a wolf lean on Alissa. And I also figured any of the 3 top wagons would give good data. So how do I pick one?

Alissa had also just popped on complaining about keeping up. And she was quieter. I had wrongly vigged shot Sunny in a speed game and she seemed to take it really personally. And Finn was also doing a lot of woe is me emotional manipulation. I honestly thought people would be less pissed off if I shot alissa and was wrong, and I was really unhappy about how the zenge shot was recieved, and I'm pretty sure zenge has taken that personally too. Also I trusted the people on alissa more than I did those on sunny or finn (at the time). I don't remember everyone but AM and Stagg and SP sticks out in my mind. Notice I said at the time. I also considered in reading thosr people how much I would like to know if they were correctly voting or not.

To summarize:
1) my personal biggest wolf read was alissa
2) I wasn't wolf reading Finn or Sunny
3) I trusted those on alissa more than those on Sunny or Finn
4) But those on alissa I wanted more data on
5) I was village reading genny and she thought more time would do nothing. That felt like egging on too because she knew the Zenge shot was a vig with certain timing, and she was one of a very few sussing Zenge, genny's smart and must have figured out starting N1 the vig was taking some kind of cues from her.
6) Only Alissa and Finn made it sound like being killed would be a blessing because they were having a hard time keeping up.
7) of the 3 alissa was also posting the least
8) of the 3 I thought alissa would be the least pissed

I put wolfiness > feelings for strat choices, but like I said I had more of a wolf read for alissa (as did the people voting there were also indicating I might add), so then factor in all the emotional considerations, and I couldn't justify going with people I trusted less' wolf reads that I wasn't wolf reading AND had all these downsides. Like, I'm not going to majorly piss people off to shoot someone I'm not even really wolfreading.

It isn't brain surgery how I picked. And obviously it only makes sense if you don't know any of the 3's Af.

You're arguing that your voting record and supposed vig actions aren't AI because villagers kill villagers all the time.

But then you're arguing that someone making what to you are poor choices about what to share info wise is AI. That's .... not really fair. Even if I agree it was bad play (which I'm not sure I do, because I tend to be more in favor of spilling info than DocE-style hiding it), bad play isn't AI.

The real point is that we don't know if there's a seer, and she may have layed low with NKs, and we don't know if there's anything baked into the mayor role to deal with wolf disadvantages, like unseerability.

So the mayor role isn't AI. Which means you need to look at votes, actions, and posts.

Sometimes bad play is just a show.

Case in point, Sunny and Finn's excuses for not posting spreadsheets or giving reads. And if Stagg flips, this post restriction real or faked, and the himbo stuff.

I'm not that interested in samac rn. It just seems that way because she keeps doing stuff to wolfhunt that drives me nuts and I can't help myself when it comes to posting.

I don't think samac can go to end game is all.

I recently read something about candy and sweets as we know it being invented in England. Not sure where or how I read this. So I believe it could be a role of some kind Pip put in game,.so kind of candyman.

That's basically the definition, that you usually activate it. Either that or the time of reveal is baked in, or certain game events trigger it. The first (activation on request) is most common.

Honestly at this point I like eliminating him from the game just so I can solve without the noise. I don't mean noise like someone posting a lot. It's too hard to tell if what he does is game strat related or not. And the confusion he sows gums up the works. I'd just as soon not worry about it if 90% of what someone is contributing has to always make you wonder theor Af.

I tried to use it on N4 but was unsuccessful due to the weird night cancel in the TARDIS. I got input from both Samac and Dubz on who I should use it on, and I ultimately used it on Stagg because he was a wolf read and we didn't think he was the healer (I didn't want to accidentally block the healer, which didn't end up mattering because AM died on N4). I told both of them what my item did and who I used it on. I successfully used it on N5 and that is why Stagg cannot prove to you all today that he is the innocent child. Even though I am wolf reading him and was voting for him, I think we should avoid yeeting him for a day so that he can get mod confirmation that he is the innocent child. If he does not get that mod confirmation tomorrow, then we should yeet him then.

I have no idea who the person was who made him unable to speak/oddly post restricted him.

The fact that you repeatedly say I can’t make it to end game after the amount of work I put in solving really pisses me off.

Just to note you started pushing me when the wolves failed their kill. With sunny.

I swear if Pippy hadn’t put a direct James Bond quote in the game I’d swear you were a wolf. I think I’m actuality you’re a 3P and trying to prove a point about 3Ps.

If it makes you feel any better, I would totally understand people saying I shouldn't make it to end game either, based on the particulars of this game and me as a player in general

. Some people have me as a policy elim because they can't read me. Try to see it as a compliment for your ability to wolf and be seen as a villager, in some ways it's a compliment to your game no matter your Af.

While I see the case for BOTH of us getting yeeted before the bitter end, I still think there's lots of other players that should go first in the POE.

In no order, Stagg, Sporty, Mayo, genny, alley, MsP, capri, should get flipped before us. But the way the game works is we kill until it's over. So if all those players die and magically the game isn't over, it's time to start flipping players like you and I.

If I didn't list someone, I'm probably village reading them or at the least they are bottom of my list in the POE.
