@holdthemayo I wish eye roll emojis were a reason to act. I really do.

Oh... we haven't played together before. I'll forgive the confusion.

I have other reacts, but you have to post something that isn't utter nonsense to earn them.

We'll get there.

It's all gold but this part of the interviews section really got me lol
"Since most people who dedicate all their spare time to studying in libraries are extroverts, this makes the experience a perfect fit for most med school applicants."

Your true friends are the grades you made along the way!

Meanwhile I'm sitting here hoping the real mods changed some WW terms around :heckyeah:
Sporty was just saying that too! That would be hilarious

Your ego has gotten too large, so I'm keeping you in check.
This makes absolutely no sense and has nothing to do with my ego.

I'm not lazy, I work hard at the game. I could work harder, but then I wouldn't have time for life. Others can do more than me in less time.
Doesn't mean I'm that good and I never said I was.

Did I miss something? Or why do you think it was a redirect, and not that you were the target?
Like I said, I thought Visc said something that could be interpreted that they had something to do with it. Redirection was her ability so that would be the only thing that would make sense. But if I'm remembering wrong then maybe that didn't happen.

That's dumb. Let egos go wild. That's half the fun of the game and 85-90% of the fun for me.
Generally I'm with you on this, there's some ego that's all in good fun, and it's why I like to cultivate the legend of a lot of players. But when someone takes themselves too seriously as a scum hunting god, it's also fun to bring them down to earth a little. Don't worry I'm sure you'll get your turn.

Oh maybe I missed something when I was trying to pull off being on the thread during the ACLS videos earlier.

Wait a sec, I know just what we need...

It's really a toss up. I never thought we'd see a WW ego as big as or bigger than DocE's.

This conversation is off-topic at this point, but the extra kill isn't based on guessing a player is a villager, it's usually guessing something more specific to their role. For example many moons ago in the Dogs game I could get extra kills if I could guess what AKC group a player's role was in (and was aided greatly by @PippyPony casually asking about what breeds people were on thread because of excitement about the game theme lol)

I also have reason to believe that player locations are relevant to their role

So you agree with... basically every post she's made so far in the game?

I really dislike your sudden ignoring of veteran players being rude to newer players on thread, which as I recall is something you hate and have always been riled up by. Having a hard time seeing you support DocE at all given that.
A lot of your reasoning shared today is also really off the wall and you've avoided lots of questions about your play/reads until you could come on and give really vague answers (like your response to my question about your last second mayor vote switch, which was completely ignored until someone asked it again later, and your reads responses today).

Vote sunny
Hits ma feels differently now that we know meats was village.

You are a buffoon if you ignore the entire part of the roster that isn't interacting with you.
Thinking about it though, that's up to oneself to control. All you have to do is try to engage with people. I agree focusing on interactions with oneself is best. If you try to engage someone and they won't or deflect, that's still self-data.

Well I frequently get chastised for this from vet players
To be fair, there is a need to look elsewhere and not just who chooses to interact with you. Which is why it's good to proactively engage outside the circle of people you may currently be engaged with.

I appreciate that point, I was looking more at the latter paragraph, not the DocE/shorty stuff.
But a lot of it was factually incorrect. Like she said I avoided answering about my mayor vote switch but I explained it fully at the time AND again as soon as I saw each time someone brought it up to ask me about it again, which like 3 people did including her.

Pay attention to who I'm talking to. I'll mention them when it cohesive and finished.
You started saying stuff like this, being coy, and the thing about "let me do my work" when you wolfed. I know you did. You kept alluding to some great wolf hunting mystery, like if we just kept you around longer you would crack the case. Great strategy.

They criticize you for relying on the fact that you know you're a villager and basing most of your day one reads on that info? They're objectively wrong for that. This is why prevet is the decelopmental league. and I say that as someone who has created game specifically for here. It's where good game design ideas are made, but not where good strategy is the standard.

Or do you get chastised for always throwing out all of your opinions of everyone? Don't do that. That's just bad strategy until you actually have enough solid information to have your opinions mean anything.
To be fair, past D1 especially people need to avoid OMGUS (Oh my God you suck!) Retaliation votes.

It's easy to get stuck in a tunnel of just those that suspect you. It's easier for wolves than villagers to avoid sus from such players.

Yes I’m criticized for that exactly.

Nope. I’m the one arguing against this all the time. That pushing people for premature bad reads is bad strategy.
I will say it's a little ridiculous, because no one actually forces anyone to give a read on anyone. Stand your ground. Only wolves have to ***** out and give bad reads on demand.

Is there a reason this bothers you so much? Now that you're here though, what are your reads?

Where in the writeup does it say royalty mechanics includes not knowing each others' identities?
Where in the writeup does it say royaly mechanics includes having protective abilities?
This is an example of feeling like AM is missing the point on purpose.

I'm just going to say, not directly related to gameplay... a lot of people have been rude at various points during this game (and others). Myself included. Some of you are kinda selective about who you call out on it though.
I had to quote this. With all the butt hurt going around (which I halfway enjoy, halfway don't, I'm a masochist, I've had prosecco and you don't even what to know the things I do for fun besides fight on SDN ;-) I have to say this was the best post of all. So true.

And, there is a certain refreshing honesty to Finn's play that I have felt has had a more settling/mediating effect than I would expect for a wolf. Wolves love it when villagers fight, and besides white knighting to gain someone's favor generally will stand back at most while village burns itself.

I dunno. Her comment is this mix of soothing and castigating that has a balance I don't find wolfy.

It sounds like you are asking if people know who is in their class. If you don't know then that could mean.....

Please tell me what you meant b/c you haven't seemed wolfy up to this point.
This is a good point.

And everyone has seemed to have forgotten about the existence of masons. Barks asked how royals or a class of player might know each other.

Masons are non-wolf players that start the game with a shared PM and know each other's affiliation. This can get them suspicion on thread, usually masons have trust and can be seen to be working together more than the average villager works with an unknown, so they can appear informed minority when they are only informed about each other.

This is also relevant to earlier discussions about Bob.
