submeta refers to statements like "XYZ subbed out and they don't like wolfing, so that slot must be a wolf"

hostmeta refers to statements like "Flushie did XYZ, this must mean that this role is in the game, otherwise he wouldn't do this"

I can't police your thoughts so thinking these things, is whatever to me. Just don't think them out loud.

Trust tells are things like "Hey Crayola, let's just clear each other because we never lie to each other when one of us is wolfing"
 
In response to your “do I play on other sites” no I do not. Majority was used in the mafia universe champs game last year so I assumed it’s a more commonly used mechanic on other sites. FTF and AM are the only mods who I’ve seen use this mechanic and they both play on other sites.

I wasn’t trying to be wolfy. I’m just trying to be cautious of vote splitting and ties in this game because of the size and also the Maj mechanics.

Pretty ballsy of me to try and pocket AM. I honestly am just trying to bicker with her less. I’ve been bickering with her a lot it feels like in recent games and it’s gotten me nowhere except yeeted early on (and it’s happening again)

Btw I think my reason for MsP is justified. I’m also kinda waiting to see if she shows up though. Just based off the discards I’m a little sus of the role she discarded because the role isn’t inherently awful and iirc Msp likes being scum or at least doesn’t mind it

@alissa14 I don't know how the role I discarded seems "low key" or preferable to something else. I read it, saw that it was supposed to be like a wolf affiliation seer (basically pointless) that died whenever another wolf died, and was like "well that sounds awful, hard pass"

Who would want to be on a wolf team where you automatically killed a teammate by dying? That sounds like the worst thing ever for someone who likes wolfing for the pack aspect. Would take even vanillager over that because at least then I'm not taking a buddy down with me.

Also I didn’t get a full role description of the lover. It makes more sense that you wouldn’t pick this role if it meant a teammate also died. I just assumed it meant another player would die
 
Also I'm just going to throw it out there that I don't understand how Alissa is coming to the conclusion that my discarded role "isn't awful" when she didn't read the description and claims to not be familiar with this stuff. I feel like there's the possibility she is communicating with someone who is more used to the MU (or non-SDN) conventions.

I didn’t come to this conclusion first AM did. I just agreed with her. And also I tried to do as much research as I could prior to the game before deciding to continue to play so a lot of the stuff about roles were on MU or mafia scum. So I wouldn’t say I’m THAT unfamiliar. I’m not communicating with anyone other than FTF with questions.

Because I made the false assumption based on the description of lover on other sites that either you picked your lover or that your lover would not be one of your teammates. You not choosing the role because you didn’t want to take a teammate with you makes more sense as to why you discarded the role and I have less sus on you for that reason.

Btw this is the same reason I discarded my role. I’m sick of dying early in recent games and I also wasn’t confident enough in myself to choose a scum lover that would die when I died. I was afraid I would take out a town role instead.
