Me too! I am still waiting for my MCAT score before I submit - but then I hope I get an invite 🙂 🙂:xf: Marian looks like it is going to have a really solid program.
 
An improvement was made to the MU-COM admissions portal earlier today.

Now applicants can see which LORs have been received. While you cannot see the actual letter or name of the recommender, the portal will now show if a letter (advisor, science, physician) is complete or incomplete. The process of updating everyone's application is underway now and should be completed by the close of business tomorrow (9/6).

To check the status, log into the portal and go to the "Check Your Status" tab. The same information is also in the "Document Status" tab, which will be used later in the admissions process.

As an out of state candidate who went to undergrad in Indiana, I was SO excited to hear there was a DO school in Indiana.

Just got a "COMPLETE" on my app a couple days ago. Don't know if my application will have been reviewed as of yet but I'm oh so hopeful!!

Thank you also to MU-COM for posting updates. 🙂

Just kidding. Any guesses whether emails or phone calls will go out?
 
How receptive do you think they will be about OOS students? I havent finished their secondary but would like to. I already have 4 II's so i'm not hurting but would really like to live there!

Hahaha my mouth dropped when I read this 😱 very funny! no idea. i'm gonna assume emails because they seem to be pretty good at communicating that way, but who knows. that's just a wild guess.

Not sure, hopefully a little receptive 😳 I guess we will find out tomorrow because that's when the first IIs are supposed to go out...:xf: I think if you're at all interested just send it in 🙂

Complete 8/27. Who knows how many they even gave out. You'll be just fine 🙂 keep the faith! 👍
 
Greetings! First-round interview invitations for files complete before 8/23 were sent out via email this afternoon. Interviews are scheduled through the portal.

More invitations will be released over the weekend and in the weeks to come.

Looks like I got an interview from Marian. I have to say, this has got to be one of the most organized schools out there. You'd think they have been doing this for decades.

I look forward to check this one out!


PS looks like use MMI's...sort of intimidating when they explain it, but also kind of like a contest, which is cool.

Your interview is scheduled. That is a glitch in the software that we are fixing right now. It was not to appear. Sorry for the inconvenience. Refresh your screen in the portal and you will see something else.

I totally agree about the MMI. Not quite sure how I feel about it... How do you guys plan to prepare for that?
 
I got an interview! I'm scheduled Saturday, October 6th. I love that they do Saturday interviews. Now I don't have to take off work! Good luck to everyone else!! 😀

Oh, and the software worked fine when I scheduled the interview, so it's probably been fixed.
 
II here! Scheduled for October 5th! MCAT 26O cGPA 3.4 sGPA 3.5 in-state

Also, I am pretty nervous about the MMI format as well... I have no idea how to prepare for that
 
II... AHHH... my first one... Mid twenties mcat, 3.6 BME GPA and 3.4 sGPA... OOS... def looking at the whole applicant!

Hi everyone! Just checked my email and I received an interview as well! OOS 3.78, 24R. I am really nervous about the interview format as well, I have never heard of that before?
 
anyone successfully upload their picture in the portal?
 
finally got the complete email this morning ..now the waiting begins :scared:
 
I was bummed when I didn't get an II until I realized that they only sent out them for people complete before 8/23 and I wasn't. Whew. Hopefully I get one this weekend!

Congrats to all you who already got one!

I did...while it was loading it had progress bar that read "scanning for overall good looks". Could this be something?



JK, but yeah, mine uploaded. There is a 5mb limit (which is over 5000kb), so most photos should be fine. Maybe make sure its small enough file size?

Did this pop up as the progress bar came to completion?

The file was under the limit... when I hit upload it just disappeared and that was the end of it. Still shows "no photo". Hmm, guess I'll try again later or tomorrow.
