Good to know I'm not alone! Hopefully we all hear good news soon! Is the semester over at end of this week?
 
This might not be relevant to you guys waiting on interview acceptances, but I talked to Lindsey and she said that there probably wouldn't be any waitlist acceptances before Christmas...bummer.

Did you talk to her on the phone today? I wonder if that means they will not be accepting, rejecting, or waitlisting anyone from the last round of interviews before Christmas either.

I emailed her yesterday with a couple of questions and she emailed me back this morning. I guess if they usually do all three of those things together during each meeting, then maybe they aren't making any decisions until after Christmas or maybe even the new year.
 
They told us 2-3 weeks at our interview on 29th, so hopefully they stick to that. But with semester ending today idk.
 
Hey everyone I emailed then yesterday and they made decisions on the last round of interviews (28, 29, and 30) yesterday. I don't know when they will be calling the people they accepted though...I forgot to ask that and don't want to email again to ask. Has anyone heard anything today? Good luck to everyone!
 
I haven't heard anything today. I figured at least someone here would have if they made calls today. We shall see tomorrow I guess.

Yeah, that would have been an amazing Christmas gift. I guess they'll start pulling off the waitlist again in January so that gives people time to submit their semester grades...unless you're in the same boat as me and have already graduated.
 
Any one from the last round (28th, 29th 30th) of interviews hear anything? I heard committee met Tuesday, so I am pretty worried having heard nothing after 2 days.
 
Just got the call! Accepted OOS, interviewed 11/30.

Congrats!! Either of you guys mind telling us your stats? I'm curious about the OOS applicant pool.
 
3.9 cGPA 3.83 sGPA, and 27O (so don't worry, there's still hope).

My MCAT isn't too great, I think it was my interview that won them over...
 
3.87 cGpa 3.85 sGpa 34s, but I also felt as though it was mostly the interview that won them over.

just got the call today at 14:00 hrs
OOS (Texas) 27 N MCAT gGPA 3.96 sGPA 3.94
 
So if didn't receive call today is that automatic wait-list/rejection? I'm surprised no IS acceptances have been mentioned.
 
For what it's worth, every candidate at the 11/30 interview was OOS, so it may just be the makeup of the pool they're selecting from.

Congrats to those from 11/30 who are in! A little disappointed over here but not giving up, still love OSU-COM!

But, I interviewed 10/26, got my acceptance about two weeks later.

30M, c3.96, s4.0, IS

I talked to maghin in admissions recently to add an update to my file and she said there wouldn't be any waitlist movement until after January 1st at the earliest. I understand your anxiety man. OSU is the only place that's even offered me an interview so far.
 
Haha what would be nice is if you and me both got accepted in January..
 
That would be awesome. It would definitely put my mind at ease and allow me to enjoy my free time before the fall.
 
Do you think it is a waste of money to send in a secondary now? I'm oos. I honestly thought that I completed it but I guess it got lost in all the secondary mess.

Is there a lot of wait list movement before interviews end or do most of the wait list acceptances happen after they've finished up interviews?
 
I want to say they will look at your scores (gpa, mcat, and interview score) along with the next group to interview. I may have read that in an earlier post, or I may just be talking out of my head. Hopefully you hear something by the end of the month, Im rooting for you over here.

Thanks. I just wasn't sure if they only pull a certain amount of people off the wait list during the interview cycle or if they just take as many people that meet their criteria. Good luck to you as well, whatever stage of the app cycle you're in.
 
I am a sophomore in my undergrad, but I am also taking paramedic classes, so that will slow me down a little bit. I plan on applying in 2015

I was accepted immediately, not wait listed, but it was by phone. They called me on the day they sent out my packet.

3.36Sgpa, 3.27Cgpa, 30P.
 
I have been waiting a year to say this. ACCEPTED!!
