where did you guys send updated transcripts? I definitely need to do that. What address and did you put 'attention' or anything specific? thank and congrats!
I think I sent it to:
Attn: College of Osteopathic Medicine Admissions
1111 W. 17th St.
Tulsa, OK 74107
I would imagine anything like that would work as long as you get the main address correct.
Did you guys also update AACOMAS with your new grades or just OSU?
Hi guys, I am sad to say that I just turned in my decline notice, I hope it opens up a spot for one of you...
I'm sure someone will profit. TCOM is a great school though good luck there!
Hello everybody,
I have a question for you all and hopefully someone will know the answer. I interviewed at OSU in November and was placed on the waitlist and have still not heard anything back yet. Since it is close to February is this a bad thing? OSU is my number one choice and would love to hear something back but I do not know if the class is full and us on the waitlist are going to remain on it or if it is still possible even though it has been a few months. Congratulations to all who have been accepted and I hope I will be joining you in the fall.

Thank you for replying. Do you have any idea on how many people are on the waitlist? Do they score you and say that you are high enough to go on the waitlist and if you interview early you are high on the list or is it ranked? Just trying to get a rough idea while I wait.I don't think so. OSU is notorious for taking their time with pulling from the wait list. They interview through March (I believe) and will refrain from making a lot of decisions until then. I received an email a few days ago for accepted students, the recipients weren't hidden, and there were only about 35 or 40 people on that list. Since then, they've probably accepted some more, but I'd be willing to bet that the class isn't full yet.
Just give them a call if you're curious! I'm pretty sure that Lindsey would be more than happy to let you know how their process is coming.
Good luck, guys!
Ya I am not sure how many people they outright reject or if the majority go on the waitlist. If the majority do then there would be at least over a hundred by now. This has been one of the hardest things to do I must say is be in limbo for so long. I know it will be worth it if we get accepted and it will be an experience if we do not. If we don't hopefully we will get accepted right away next year.I've also been on the waitlist since early November. I'm pretty sure there are quite a bit of people on the waitlist if they've only accepted around 50 applicants. My guess is that there are at least 40-50 people already on the waitlist. Also, they don't rank the wait list until they cut it down to the final in May or sometime around then.
I hear that you can be accepted but the chances are slim just because there are so many that will already have finished their degree. I'm sure it varies from person to person but just from what I have been told its pretty rare to be accepted without a degree. The website for OSU says you only have to have 90 semester hours and 75% of a bachelors degree completed before starting. Does anyone know how likely they would be to admit someone who has not earned a degree by the time classes start?

Thank you again for the info!+1
There should be quite a few applicants on the waitlist at this point, considering how late it is in the cycle, but what's important is that there are still a lot of slots to be filled. Like I said previously, I'm not sure exactly how many have been accepted, but I would guess that it's no more than 60. And of course, some of those that have been accepted will not matriculate, so the odds are still pretty decent for everyone that has/has had an interview.
Absolutely not. If you don't apply then you won't have a shot at all. Plus it will give you experience and if they say no then try again the following year. However if you are going to try don't limit yourself to one school. Try numerous places and your odds will greatly increase.Would it be unrealistic if this is your number 1 choice, to apply only here a year early? and then expand your application if not accepted?
Would you mind telling me when you interviewed? I am on the waitlist at OSU and I am just curious. Thank you!Accepted off the wait-list today!!
I was accepted second week of January

Did anyone get accepted of the wait list in January? I got an email from OSU yesterday saying that the committee was going to meet 1-2 times a month to review wait list applicants.
I got the same email from Lindsey the other day haha. I wondering when the next round of interviews are. It's been pretty quiet in this thread..
Have you sent a transcript to the school yet? Lindsey asked me to update fall grades too so I sent a transcript directly to them in the meantime which she said was a good idea (since aacomas might take a week or two). I was accepted before I updated aacomas (still haven't, naughty naughty).
For aacomas I imagine you would send it to the same place as the first time?
Good luck, hope to hear good news from you all soon.
I hope they will too! Did all of these people accept the spot at OU?I'm hoping there will be some wait list acceptances soon..I know about 5 people who just got into OU who were already accepted to OSU
I hope they will too! Did all of these people accept the spot at OU?
I do too! It would be the right thing to do. Hopefully they remember to do that.I'm like 99% sure they will. I just hope they let OSU know that.
