"I'm wrong and I'm sorry for trying to son you while being wrong"Okay, I don't really know what to do with that.

See: the harry potter game where literally everyone was a goddamn blockerYeah, it's uncommon over here but if mods are gonna use it I don't think it's a big deal that they use two variations twice in the game. Also not uncommon for there to be two similar/identical roles given to the same aff. The mods love doing that just to stop people from assuming that roles are AI, and in the case of two roles to the same affiliation, that two identical roles need to be balanced across wolves/village. Mods love to jazz things up to keep people from role association solving
I was wrong about what Nate said, but my definition of tourist is correct. I did heavy research for that game."I'm wrong and I'm sorry for trying to son you while being wrong"
Right, because there can only be one possible use for a role name across the vast mafia playing worldI was wrong about what Nate said, but my definition of tourist is correct. I did heavy research for that game.
If that wasn't the case, you wouldn't have said he was "functionally a fruit vendor."Right, because there can only be one possible use for a role name across the vast mafia playing world
🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️If that wasn't the case, you wouldn't have said he was "functionally a fruit vendor."
Confusion? My POE yesterday just kind of shrank as the day went on.@NateTheLesser I'd still like to here those reads.
There was a game here (can’t remember who in this game played it) where basically every role was a fruit vendor. Not these mods but the frequency of mods doing things for the lulz on SDN is…. High.they are functionally the same role but could exist as duplicates if the mod feels like messing with people to subvert expectations. no comment from me on whether or not i think that is likely
Didn’t you just name like… the whole game? Not everyone can be village and neutral.Confusion? My POE yesterday just kind of shrank as the day went on.
As of right now I think Jay/April/PSV/Empire/Clem are town, you/Santy/True/Sporty are neutrals. Those are roughly in order left to right.
spit for me a little as to why on those reads - even if it's just one sentenceEmpire, see above.
So you're looking at Santy/True/Sporty?Confusion? My POE yesterday just kind of shrank as the day went on.

do you have any inkling? some internal ranking of the SDN natives?I feel like there has to be an SDN native as a wolf. Samac just feels like an odd N1 for one of the newbies, idk.
But who is it
I spectated you in champs too. And seeing you play from the mafia perspective still provides a view of your town game. It would be difficult to describe specific characteristics, as I am still formulating my overall concept of what "NateTheLesser, Mafia player" is. As Day 1 was reaching the last stages though, I thought you were starting to take on a general mindset and solving attitude that looked familiar to me.A post was tickling my brain and I think I found it. I'm wondering what this perception of what town!me should look like comes from, since our other game together you knew my alignment at rand.
okay then 🤷♂️*Rips off Banana Suit*
I am the Fruit Vendor . April should know that there is one, or at least, waver on it cuz I acted on them last night. So I am kinda like, ¿?¿?¿?
Town have -ev roles sometimes that part isn't particularly hard to believe lolOkay.Fruitvendor.
My immediate concern: this role strikes me as harmful. As in, it's not a "power" role. It's a crippled role. It serves no purpose other than to obfuscate town's other roles, should they exist (e.g., tracker, watcher). I am getting an impression from the crowd that this is not a sort of role that is known to occur around here. Why would this be in the game? It's not unheard of, and perhaps in some cultures it's even ordinary. If it's not ordinary here, where did it come from?
@NateTheLesser is there some kind of time-related flavor to your role that you're able to share? Please be mindful of the rules, don't reveal anything that would represent a breach.
If Santy is also a vendor-thing then that ought to increase the probability that Nate's claim is true (just given the timeline of the claims)? I'm tired and you're mechanics boy, so please tell me if you think this is wrong.Town have -ev roles sometimes that part isn't particularly hard to believe lol
This brought me back to samac's final takes:I feel like there has to be an SDN native as a wolf. Samac just feels like an odd N1 for one of the newbies, idk.
But who is it
I bolded the material that relates to SDN natives (if I have everyone's origins correct). PSV, True, and April may be appropriate, and within that group general POE can still apply. Now it isn't necessarily true that the samac kill must implicate an SDN player (samac was a reasonably consensus town read), but I think the connection is still viable enough to think about.I feel good about JJJ, AM for some reason, and sporty.
I wanted to feel good about PSV but I’m not so sure. I’m not going to have time to look at my Nate theory this morning, I’ll do it in the cycle if I live.
Clem didn’t feel wolfy going down, but hopefully with whatever night ability he has he did something village-y.
I feel entirely null on Nate.
Empire’s later work yesterday was better than his earlier work.
And I’m trying to decide if I just like santy and that makes me want to village read him or if he’s actually village-y.
Not great on true, but I think reading tone in stranger things vs Assassination is worth the time.
I also feel that april village bloc’d too early, espicially with the single non moving vote she should get some scrutiny today.
Flavor wise I'm the TARDIS.Okay.Fruitvendor.

Why is Sporty town?As of right now, I tend to believe Clem is right --> Nate is the "right" elimination. I will continue thinking about it tomorrow when I am not exhausted.
Otherwise, I don't think my view of the game has moved a whole lot. A few unrelated notes:
~ I don't really follow what PSV is doing anymore, and I don't think I town read them.
~ AM and Sporty seem town.
~ Santy's claim, in the wake of Nate's, might be the towniest thing present to this point in Day 2.
~ I thought April handled Santy's gripes well.
Bear with me tomorrow. I will be applying to like eight jobs and might hate every minute of it. I'll try to play the game, but it won't be as much as Day 1. Priorities or something.
General impression of their response to your claim and to their consideration of the night kill. Why is Sporty town?
I agree with this and will second it. These mods in particular like to mess with people who try to metagame too hard.Yeah, it's uncommon over here but if mods are gonna use it I don't think it's a big deal that they use two variations twice in the game. Well, I mostly haven't been pushing you very hard because I'm not convinced that you're a wolf. If I had to decide in this moment, I'm still leaning towards you not being one.Not totally happy with the ordering of my reads list, but I'm mostly just struggling to figure out a worldview that makes sense. I'm pretty accustomed to being in the hot seat, but usually I have a better idea of where to push instead. Need to sleep on it.
My game state read coming into the day was that if True is a wolf I'd expect to be pushed hard, and if we're both town I'd expect a more "stick with the POE" agenda (I guess this could also apply to Clem since he was also a major wagon). And it feels more like the first than the second. With the major caveat that True himself hasn't been pushing me at all. Pieces don't fit.
EhhhhIf Santy is also a vendor-thing then that ought to increase the probability that Nate's claim is true (just given the timeline of the claims)? I'm tired and you're mechanics boy, so please tell me if you think this is wrong.
GTH, who would you vote right now?Confusion? My POE yesterday just kind of shrank as the day went on.

Neither do I. Skill issueI don't really follow what PSV is doing anymore
I'm thinking I/we should take another look at April today.I feel like there has to be an SDN native as a wolf. Samac just feels like an odd N1 for one of the newbies, idk.

I also colored one line in this post blue that kind of makes me think samac didn't activate her ability and die on purpose?
I need to reread her role flip but maybe she wasn’t the night target after all? This brought me back to samac's final takes:

WhatI laid out my reasoning on this several pages back, but Samac almost certainly did not activate her ability. I believe that more strongly than I believe any of my other reads this game. She did not die due to her ability.
What
If the only death was Samac's and her ability actually worked like a doctor, that would mean that she
1. Decided to give up her life for someone else.
2. Correctly predicted the NK or her ability worked on anywho who got NK'd? But... that feels outlandish.
3. Decided to not tell us or give us a hint before she did it.
All put together, it's just silly. Samac was the NK target and we should move forward, unless anyone wants to come forward and explain why she wasn't.
I was checking before going to shower and now I'm scared someone hold me
Thanks for the nightmare fuel, I had dreams last night about showering with strangersI can or can not be clothed, depends on the holder's wishes
I feel like an incest joke could be applied to thisI can or can not be clothed, depends on the holder's wishes
They're only a stranger before they get in the showerThanks for the nightmare fuel, I had dreams last night about showering with strangers
