Hi everyone,

I would be interested in your opinions on the choice between these wonderful schools. I have a hard time deciding... I am from Chicago, and would be interested in a career of academic medicine / half research, half clinical practice.

U Wisconsin - full tuition scholarship
- Wonderful city / people / students. Very warm, supportive enviroment.
- Close to home
- With no debt, I can have more freedom to choose my specialty

Feinberg - 104k financial aid
- Right at home / beautiful location / plenty of opportunities for research
- Very strong match list / potential to match well
- Diverse patient population

Pitt - 200k scholarship
- Strong translational research core
- UPMC is indeed impressive

Columbia - 125k financial aid
- Prestige
- Wonderful faculty and research projects that I will be interested in

Thanks everyone!

First, congratulations on a great cycle! All wonderful options but, instead of giving us your aid package information, come back with total COA number for each school. That will give a clearer picture of your financial burden at each school. In view of this (edit: and based on your pros above), as it stands, Wisonsin has my vote.
