Lab ray, she had to do alternating villager and wolf moves... So if she did a wolf action on a wolf, it would fail, and a villager action on a villager, it would fail. So when she killed overnight, it was a zero risk move. She tried blocking sov and it failed, meaning he could have been wolf failed to be blocked. But, the moves had a chance of failing, so it could have been a failed attempt.

She cleared mad jack because he was successfully blocked before hand. She used the ray to block me once, protect me once, and failed a night kill attempt on TV in case she was revived a wolf
 
Can confirm that the lab ray was used on MJ at some point. No idea the why out the outcome, though.
 
SOV, the past few nights I've been sending myself the items because I've not really had a clue who to trust. Last night failed for me, for whatever reason. Epi was the last one to get an item from me, and it's useful. I can send something to someone else tonight if you want. Although honestly I'm running out of ideas for novel abilities so someone might have to give me ideas.

How about a suicide bomb.
If person is attacked, they kill the attacker and themselves... that's always a fun ability

My item was only helpful in that it filled my tummy.
 
Tonight is perhaps the most crazy night of all nights in Neopia.. The constant storms have finally come to a head, with dark ominous clouds roiling in and venting their angry rage in the form of large hailstones and water. Despite the deadly weather, the neopets are determined to try to save their town from the horrendous scourge of murders. Let us begin with SOV. After throwing bottles around willy nilly all game, trying to trap faeries, he is finally sure of what he want's to do tonight. "I'm going to trap rojo and figure this all out once and for all!". Grabbing his shiniest bottle, he creeps up to rojo's door.. Unfortunately, @thedrjojo, the shop wizard converted to Secret Laboratory Research Assistant is alive and awake, working on experiments in the secret laboratory, and hears the floorboards creak as SOV tries to sneak up to the door. Malicious grinning, he hits the power button on the lab ray, silently wheeling it to face the door. Just as the door starts to creak open, ZAP!!! SOV is hit straight on. The power of it knocks him out. When he finally rouses, he is @StartingoverVet , Balthazar, no more. The ray zapped his brains, effectively killing him and turning him into a brainless minion of rojo. Rojo cackles with glee, as he motions his new brain dead slave to follow him back into the laboratory. There is much more work to be done.

Next, rojo quickly sends out two neomails to the residents of Mystery Island. Cryptic, it says "I have discovered the murderer, but I need the two of you to come help me set a trap! Just follow this map and arrive at 8pm EST please", and is stapled to a copy of the secret laboratory map. Foolishing believing there is safety in numbers, epivet and gwen decide that they have to give it a shot to try to end this heinous string of murders. They dress in black, and quickly follow the map. Unfortunately, they are so nervous as they ring the doorbell, they don't notice the shadowy lupe standing behind a tree. SOV steps out, drooling slightly, and throws two bottles, trapping the two neopets. Crying out in horror, they try to escape, but it is no use. Rojo opens the door, and rubs his hands together evilly. He motions to SOV, who quickly puts the bottles in front of the lab ray. Rojo again powers up the ray, closes his eyes and sets the dial to a random setting, and hits go. ZAP! The glass bottles shatter, as @epivetlove, Punchbag Sid, the protector who could fight back, and @Gwenevre , spoiled Princess Fernypoo, are zapped into oblivion. As an added fun effect, the ray seems to have changed their genders! The two stand up, drooling and brain dead as well, as rojo snaps them to command. Just two last neopets to take care of.. He thinks happily.

After having his minions disassemble the lab ray and put it onto a moveable cart, he motions for them to follow. They quickly head over to Happy Valley and Terror Mountain. How fitting, rojo thinks, I will prove Terror mountain true to it's name. Standing at the summit, they have a perfect view of the two lone neohomes with lights on in the valley below. Powering up the lab ray again, he points it at first one house, then the other. ZAP! ZAP! Unfortunately, the lab ray overheats on the first zap, and completely disintegrates the home of Mad Jack. Rojo shrugs as he thinks, expect the unexpected with science experiments! There is nothing left but dust of @Mad Jack , the Brain Tree, who could ask the mods for information. The second zap, however, was more successfully. Rojo whistles, and out of the house comes BI, drooling as well. Completely braindead is @brightimpressio, the Soup Faerie, who could create items, sometimes magically imbueing them with power.

Finally, as his last triumphant act, rojo goes to dyachei's grave. Quickly sending his new minions to work, they dig up her body. Powering up the lab ray to full throttle, rojo points it at her, and hits the button. There is a fearsome loud noise, and it seems almost as if lightning has come down and struck the earth, as everyone is knocked backwards onto the ground from the force of it. Dizzy and shaking his head, rojo quickly jumps up and runs over to dyachei's body to discover, it is no longer a body, and that his mentor and primary investigator @dyachei was alive and well again! He starts laughing, and dyachei joins him. Helping her up, the two of them walk off, waving a careless hand backwards at their brainless minions to cart the lab ray back to the secret laboratory. They head off into the beautiful sunrise, happily planning new grant applications and research projects.

CHAOS has won!! Congratulations. 🙂

I just want to say, a huge thank you to everyone who played. I really appreciated the participation, and putting up with some of the hiccups. Anyways, I hope at least that it was entertaining and not too frustrating, thanks again for playing!

I'll put up the mod sheets shortly so you can see what is what. Feel free to ask any questions if there is anything you wanted to know.
 
Also I am NEVER starting a game with 30 again. Hah. I really thought more kills would happen as orca could have killed every night (but only did it once), dyachei & rojo could kill with some limitations (but also only successfully did so once), and the money tree box 5 would have had innocuous food items that would have killed whomever ate it... but no one picked that box the entire game!
 
Good game, everyone! Very well-played, rojo. Someday I'll be in a game where I'm alive at the end where the villagers win...someday.

In the beginning, Mags asked how many non wolf/villagers there was, and the response was 1, I believe.

no i converted him pretty early in the game.

And yes 1 side gone and we were alive = chaos win

So I actually screwed up a little here, I should have ended the game after FS and dyachei died, but was out of town all weekend and only on my phone so I completely forgot until rojo just reminded me. Essentially they had to make it to the end of the game, they didn't count as villager or wolf numbers, so the game would end as normal based upon wolf and villager numbers, but would go to chaos if either of them was alive.

I know it seems a bit stacked, but I figured it was fair since they really didn't have much chance of surviving through.. Dyachei didn't earn her conversion until the lab ray was completed, which should have taken a while (but she was smart and managed to team up with rojo when he was still a villager to use his ability of finding items), and the wolves actually seered her before then, but never bothered to kill her.
