I gave them all fruit and just put on a little 25min Christmas short

ETA: I was wondering why this text didn’t show up in my text thread with Mrs spurs, and I’m not supposed to delete posts, so oops. She is coming home from her overnight shift and we are about to open presents!

Christmas was supposed to be me chillin here until everyone was done with their morning checks and then I could go home, but instead I have to sedate a creature to replace a bandage because we just can't have nice things
 
Merry Christmas, everyone! I’ve gotten caught up on the thread. Spurs is coming across very sus to me. But that’s how I read him the last game I played and I was wrong.

I’m not sure when family is coming over but I may be MIA until late tonight.

My husband can’t find two Christmas socks that match so his plan is to wear mismatched socks to Christmas dinner and I just can’t even. I don’t care if they’re different colors or patterns, but they’re completely different lengths and stretchinesses. I may have married a monster.

Alrighty, the Christmas presents are opened, the legos have been stepped on, the oldest has dropped the youngest after trying to give them a piggy back ride (and then trying to lie to us about it), and the middle child is now happily playing the Donkey Kong video game while the other two are blessedly watching mostly quietly. Mrs. Spurs is off to sleep in preparation for her shift tonight.

And I just have a little under 4 hours until the Spurs play 🙂 Dare I try to get a nap in?

so i thought some things through

some of kitz posts feel again like they’re a bit derpy, and if they’re a wolf, they would’ve mentioned them in the wolfchat for clarification and not post them on the thread

there are at times where kitz feels a bit disconnected from the game state that i don’t see it coming from a wolf

so kitz is probably village

i don’t feel good about apop and will pursue that yeet during the day

CG also feels concerning but i admit i’m not a reliable person to read CG

it’s certainly possible i’m getting blindsided somewhere and misreading someone, but i’m not sure who

i don’t have much or any thoughts on Lissa which is a problem

i thought PSV and zenge are still okay to me, and i don’t really see the spurs sus, i think spurs still looks fine. katie is maybe ok too, but i need to think further

i’m thinking i could be wrong on genny though

WZ could probably be a wolf, the danger with her is her wolf play looks like her village play and she takes a strong powerwolfing stance even if she’s a coasting wolf, but so far, i don’t really see anything concerning. if however i’m getting blindsided, it’s probably by her.

Thanks. I felt pretty good about her but seeing she was on both SAR and my wagon in the middle of the day yesterday gave me a minute of pause, and I saw you noted that too. So that’s why I asked about her specifically (and I didn’t realize I was about to get a full reads list so thanks for that too!)

zenge doesn’t look like a wolf here, there are certain feelings and microreads of his posts and behavior near end of day that look compellingly village

i don’t think his confusion over end of day wagon changes is wolfy

i think he was actually lost
 
Probably going to be pretty busy most of the day with Christmas but I wanted to get some thoughts down.

Current Stocking Stuffers:

Gameboy Games:
Dubz - Not slamming down the reading card but I feel good about this being village Dubz

Spurs - I think I'm starting to get a good feel for wolf Spurs vs. Village Spurs and I think this is Village Spurs

PSV - There's a certain bite she has to her posts when she's village, and I'm seeing that here.

Fruit - Historically I'm not good at reading Fruit, but nothing pops out at me as "wolfy". Pushes and thoughts feel towny.

Chocolate Gold Coins:
CG - Honestly not a clue, nothing strikes me as "wolfy" though. If SAR had flipped wolf, then the sleep vote would have freaked me out more, like "what if they'd discussed it in wolf chat?!" but with a village flip on SAR, that obviously wasn't the case. Still a weird vote, but I'd rather not go down the CG rabbit hole in yet another game, without more concrete evidence.

Genny - Hasn't posted enough for me to get a good sense of her. I really wish SAR had been a wolf because genny wouldn't have bussed SAR out of the gate like that. Hopefully someone more attuned to The Genny Way ™️ can weigh in.

Katie - Idk. I'm going to be really cautious about this slot, after @samac made me misyeet her and beans a few games ago. I need to re-evaluate how I approaching reading Katie.

Lissa - Honestly idk how anyone could have a read here at this point. Almost no posts.

Coal:
Kitz - It's mostly the Dubz push that I just don't really understand coming from a village perspective. Generally feels floaty in the thread.

Apop - So there are a few things that ping me about Apop's posts, but what really pings me the is this post here:

As far as I'm aware, Spurs hasn't been misyeeted? Ever? Certainly not D1. @GoSpursGo can you confirm?

If I'm right, then the reasoning for this vote is just made up out of thin air, and in no way representative of reality. I don't see village Apop making up a reason to vote someone based on a complete fiction.
 
So at the risk of being side eyed, did anyone actually get any night actions in addition to the ones we can all do in the rules?

I’ve never been yeeted, period. I was vig’d as wolf in fairgrounds, vig’d as villager in SPN, and NK’d by an SK in CYO as a wolf

Now, I do want to give apop a little bit of slack because I do think I wind up running my mouth and getting thrown in the sus pile at some point in just about every game and and discussed as a possible yeet target. And it is usually that sus that does eventually get me killed, but so far exclusively at night and by someone acting on their own. So I could understand the perception that I’m often discussed as a yeet target

That said, I didn’t think the argument to yeet SAR specifically because she voted for me made much sense. And there are a few other things that jump out to me about apop as well.

it’s a mix of not much to go on, the minor pushback/insistence that she was active and contributing, and the spurs sus that doesn’t sit right with me

Sorry I don’t spam like everyone else. 🤷🏼‍♀️ this is pretty consistent among the few games I have played with this generation of players. Anyways, Christmas festivities are about to begin. I probably won’t be back until my drive home (hubs will be driving-not me!)

Fwiw, she did post on N0. Tonally it’s about what I remember from SPN when we were PM partners, as is her sus of me (which to be fair, a good number of my posts are not, uh, high quality 😅)

Not clearing but nothing really pinging me as different from the village version of Lissa I saw previously either

Oh thanks for pointing that out. I guess we were never especially close to triggering the hammer yesterday anyways.

Assuming 1 (or 0) NKs, the hammer will be 6. If 2+ NKs, it will be 5.
 
Quick reads, I'm actually going to try to take most of the day off

genny - not seeing the genny way yet and I'm not a fan of how she handled SAR

apop - making my eyebrows crinkle and my nose tickle, though I'm keeping in mind 1) potential overcorrection for being pocketed last game and 2) n=1 in both cases but I've been sus of her when she was village and pocketed when she was wolf so this may actually be a point in her favor

CeeGee - dunno

PSV - I had a weird tingle that I can't recall the reason for, but some other stuff that also made me think village? Need to review more closely.

kitz - might have derpcleared herself again, just not as strong. village points for being a vote I started d1 that came close to going through lol

Lissa - little to go on, so far in line with what I remember from her most recent games where she was village, particularly the suspicion of people I think are village :laugh: But I don't remember what she looks like when she's wolfing.

Katie - kinda relying on others who have played with her, I don't have solid footing on her yet myself but nothing has upset me so far.

fruit - feels pretty much like fruit last game, I like his overall view of the game, and voting behavior seemed like village!fruit too

Zenge - I'm not quite as confident here as I was last game but I'm pretty sure he's village based on some tonal and behavior stuff

Spurs - feels very different from his scum games to me and seems to be taking on the village leader mantle
