Hey guys, I recently took my DAT and I wanted to share my experience so you guys can be better prepared to take the exam. I had DATBooster for 3 months but really only started elevating my dedication during the last month. I’d say the first 2 months were rather laid back as I thought the test...
Hello! I would like some advice from the good people of this forum concerning my OAT results, which I got back yesterday. My cGPA is 3.2 and my sGPA is a bit below that (ditto with my pre-reqs - my post-bacc years-long repair process mostly focused on upper divisions). My biggest strength is...
So I studied extremely hard and I can't say I was surprised with anything. Math has long been my weakest subject and I spent a lot of time on it but didn't the score I expected. So what do you guys think, should I retake(REALLY dont want to but I will if its a must), should I apply this cycle...
I was wondering what are my chances of getting into a program if I have a 3.8 GPA overall/3.7 total science and OAT scores of 290 AA/ 280 TS. NSUCO is my top choice and once I sent my unofficial scores to them in August, they called me and said to retake my OAT and that they might...
If one wants to get into an Endo or Heme-Onc fellowship and wants to have some clinical research done...? The facilities are allegedly in the top 5 in the US, and it's near Boston, and it is affiliated with UMass...anyone really wanting to train there? Thanks for the input. (This post is not for...

Hello, my current number one school choice is UHCO and I am trying to get into this cycle, but not sure about my stats. My GPA is really low 3.08, but hopefully by the time I graduate it will be almost a 3.2 I just took my OAT scores yesterday and did really well on the science section, but I...
I read that schools usually use your latest MCAT score if you take MCAT multiple times. However, I also read that some schools take the average, but I have never found any school that actually does this. Do you guys know of any?
My gpa currently is overall 3.63, sGPA: 3.64. (PS: I am also only an upcoming junior in undergrad currently and hopefully will be able to pull my GPA to about a 3.7 before I apply next year)
DAT scores from today:
- PAT: 20
- QR: 16
- RC: 26
- Bio: 24
So I've been prepping for the MCAT since first week of June. I finished content review in June and just have been doing practice tests, qpacks, and section bank up until now. I'm about a month away from my test date (Aug 31st) but, honestly, I'm not sure what's up with my Kaplan FLs:
Has anyone taken all/most of the BC Full Length Exams before they had studied thoroughly and then taken the Full Length Exams again after they had studied thoroughly? How much did your scores improve, and were your improved scores reflective of how you did on the actual DAT?
I haven't really taken any timed tests yet, but my most recent stats from the DATBC sample tests thus far are:
bio: 22 (biggest weakness is embryology/taxonomy, haven't really learned these subjects. I missed all of the questions related to these topics, which is around 6 questions, so there's...
This is her second time applying, and it was her second DAT. Her first DAT was an AA of 21, but she had a lowish science score. I believe it was like 18-19. As far as her GPA goes, it's not astoundingly high...I think it lies somewhere around 3.4 now. It used to be 3.33, but she took 8 credits...
Hey all! I am currently taking the MCAT in January and Chem/Phys is my weakest section, I am consistently getting around 125 on every practice exam I take. As I have the MCAT in 60 days, I am looking to improve all my sections but especially this one since I can't seem to get the numbers to...
I took the PCAT for the first time in September and here are my scores:

Junior, Microbiology major, GPA 3.49, I currently am doing research for a pharmaceutical company. I have also worked in a pharmacy since I was 16 and have been a tech...
Quick question. I am taking the MCAT in June 2018. I want to submit my application as close to the opening of the AAMC application date (May 1st). My question is, can I submit everything such as LOR, general application, transcripts, personal statement etc without MCAT scores.
I just got my scores back from the Sept. 9th 2017 MCAT and got an overall score of 508
-508 overall score
-My breakdown was (128,124,128,128)
-My Science and cummulative GPA is: 3.90
-I have a lot of research experience with a 1st author publication in a good journal and will be at another...
So if my MCAT scores are released from aamc on 9/10/17. And I go ahead and send them over to accomas that day/next day. How long should I expect for them to be sent AND processed by my schools? I can't find a straight answer on the site. THANKS!
I took the OAT today (9/18/2017) and did better than I thought would have.
Actual OAT scores in order of which they are tested: "Standard Score (Percentile)"

So I had taken my PCAT on Jan 17 and did well compared to the standards and averages of the school i'm applying too. I requested the scores be sent by Pearson to PharmCAS and after about a week, they were in. However, my WRITING SCORE was not! PharmCAS had left my writing scores blank and when i...
So, I know that on the Texas pharmacy board website, they say that it may take up to 3 weeks for them to physically mail you a letter that states whether you passed or failed.
Is that still the only way to know your results or do they update the NABP website on your results as well soon after...
First off I'd like to extend my thanks to Ari from bootcamp, Dr. Mike from bootcamp and the DAT destroyer people (orgoman). I took the DAT yesterday morning and came up with the following scores:

So, I got my DAT scores. I got a 26 AA and a 30 TS. I have a 3.98 Total GPA and a 4.00 science GPA. I am a CA resident. What do you guys think my chances are of getting into UCLA, UCSF, and UW? Those are my top choices right now. Any other suggestions?
So I've been doing the Kaplan course the past couple of months and have gotten: 503, 505, 507 and 509 on my last FL tests.
From the forums, everyone was saying that the AAMC practice test is sooo much easier than the Kaplan tests and that you should expect at least a 3 point increase.
this is my first time posting on here and I apologize if there is already a thread like this one, but I tried reading some and non exactly pertained to me so I thought I'd go ahead and post my story and see what you guys think. Please if you have anything rude to say don't say it...
I'd like to congratulate those who got an offer for UT Austin this cycle. They must have done amazing on their interviews!
Unfortunately, I failed mine. I got my result recently and I'm still a bit baffled since.
So I have always heard this advice that the interview is nothing...
Dear Prospective Students,
Are you looking to improve your USMLE Board scores to have the best opportunity for any residency program?
My name is Michael Shriver and I currently am a 4th-year medical student at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. I will be...
Eligibility document disappeared today (my eligibility would have lasted a number of months still). This does not have a bearing on pass/fail anymore from my understanding but DOES say scores are coming back this next week.
Anyone else expecting? How are you feeling?
I have my DAT in 9 days on (1-21-17) and I'm getting so anxious and feeling pretty hopeless...
I've done all of the normal things (Chad's videos, doing Destroyer, Cliff's bio notes, practice tests, going through the Kaplan book) and I just took yet another practice test and got...
Bio - 17
So I've read hundreds of times the DAT average scores are getting higher and people are getting 20+ more and more and I believed it for a while. I now have a hunch this just can't be true. The reason I say this is while people can and do get really high scores. The test is scaled and percentile...
Inspired by Glimmer1991's Ultimate Breakdown Collection.
Hey guys, 8_man here with a present for all you upcoming DAT takers. As a recent test-taker myself, nothing prepared me more than going through the breakdowns of those who absolutely killed it. Many others will agree with me...
Like the title says I didn't do so great on the PAT. Here are my scores:

Bio: 24 - 89th percentile
GC: 23 - 92nd percentile
PAT: 17 - 24th percentile
TS: 23 - 92nd percentile
