ok new question..
to all those who have financial aid/laptop do you also have CBC emails
to all those who have CBC emails, do you have financial aids/laptop?
to those who have both..did you receive the email like last week or so?
the reason I ask was that I stopped by the admissions office on Tuesday and one of the secretaries said she had over 200 applications to enter today.
So maybe the people who were already entered at some point have the signs of acceptance while the newly entered people caught the tail end of a computer glitch or something...
i dunno just trying to stay optimistic/figure things out.
regardless, I have a test tomorrow in med school (all the UG biochem classes are in the same building as the admissions office) so I will stop by and see what's up. Although I am sure you guys will have the phones ringing before I get there.
Hey Isis, there is no waitlist until spring when they may or may not place you on the alternate list. I just called Ellen and she said that they won't look at the "hold" applications again until late winter early spring. Basically they want to interview everyone first before they start looking at the hold people. But again, from the looks of it last year it doesn't seem likely to get off the hold list.
Congrats. 🙂OMG SDN is magic! Just got my CCLCM/UP invite! *dies* 😱
Submitted Sept. 18th, complete Sept. 24th...
No, you're right. I posted about this a few pages back. See below.Grr this is annoying. By the way, CCLCM decisions don't come out for awhile right? Like December? Or am I making that up? I very well could be.
The actual dates of the adcomm meetings are Dec. 2 and Feb. 17. There will be 16 people accepted at the first meeting and then at least 16 more at the second meeting. For CCLCM, things are going to be done differently this year. Instead of continuously rolling acceptances, there are going to be two acceptance dates. The first is in early December, and then there will be a second one at the end of February. Those of you who interview from now through November will be considered for a December acceptance. If you don't get in then, you will stay in the pool for a February acceptance. Those of you who interview from December through February will be considered for a February acceptance. This change was made so that there will still be seats available for the people who interview later in the season.
Yeah, most people won't get accepted right away. The adcomm wants to avoid overaccepting since there's no way to know how many people will withdraw, and they want to save half the seats for people who interview later in the season. But probably more than 16 people will get accepted in the spring, so don't give up hope if you're an early interviewee and you don't get one of the first batch of acceptances.wow. only 16 students accepted on december?! roughly it seems like 1 acceptance out of 10 students interviewed. that's tough!
I don't know the UP adcomm schedule, but I can tell you that being on hold is not the same thing as being rejected for either Case program. Hold means that your app is being set aside for later consideration and no decision has been made yet.Anyone know the schedule of the University Program ADCOM meetings? I'm on hold and I am wondering when I might be able to hear next. BTW, I hope a hold does not equal rejection at Case
Anyone know when the next batch is going out for case? I interviewed in earlier October and am waiting to hear back. Thanks.
I interviewed Oct 7 and they said decisions on our files would be made Oct 20 (yesterday). So, I assume they have now made decisions, and we only need wait til sometime soon when they update our page!
Hmmm .. I thought they told us they met on thursdays?
Hmmm .. I thought they told us they met on thursdays?
Someone earlier in the thread (post 378) also said they met on Mondays. Either way, I hope we hear back soon. I can't stand this wait..
Does anyone know if everyone is invited to participate in the application for merit scholarships. If not, does anyone know how many people are?
Nice guys.. with the acceptances!
Interview's in December. I feel like applying to the Clinic delayed app decision. Is it safe to assume that most people who've interviewed already applied only to Case and not the Clinic?
