I got the call from Richard Wallace this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 I never thought I'd get in. I've been doing a jig all day. Good luck to those of you still on the list!

would you mind sharing stats and/or letters that you sent?


also, i see that duke accepted people from WL in July for last couple of years... i have little hope left, but i do not believe that this is over yet.

I'm OOS (not that that matters here), I have a 3.85, 40Q. I didn't send a single thing since I finished my application (I wrote a thank you note post interview but it never found its way into the mail). So as you can see, I didn't do too much.

however, if they are accepting 40Q's from the WL, then i'm waaaaaayyyy down the chain (34R).

He didn't say he knew it wasn't going to move- he said he could say for sure either way but that the class looked like it was completely filled... Maybe 1 lucky person will get in, I just gleaned from that conversation that it will not be me.

Wait, he actually talked to you? It seemed from the waitlist email that Duke DID NOT want anyone to call about requesting info about their status.

Yes I spoke with him on the phone; I dont' think he actually went and pulled my file though.. I was looking for some closure on the matter, and i guess I got a little

was just accepted, 2nd year applicant, tried for md/phd, accepted as md (this is much better for me now), non-trad, i could not be happier! viva duke!!!
