It said something along the lines of, "We'd love for you to come and visit the school to learn more about the program"... I don't have an invite or anything, so I figured it was just sent out to everyone. anyone else get this?

It sounds like some kind of promotional material. You would have gotten an invite by email.

What we have to do is randomly work it into the conversation where it kind of makes sense in that context. Some examples, listed in increasing risk of being considered a total wacko:

"Hmm, I wonder what kind of sandwich to buy in the Lerner cafeteria with my meal ticket. I think I'll see if they have eggplant."

"You know, I heard they have great baba gannoush at Aladdin's. I'm not normally a fan of eggplant, but it's great when it's pureed."

"Did any of you notice how that guy's nose is exactly the color and shape of an eggplant?"

There are definitely some people who get put on hold and then interviewed later. CCLCM puts some people on hold and rejects some people straight out. If you haven't gotten either one yet, they haven't made a decision on you yet.

Assuming you are all of legal age, there is a very nice hotel on the CCF campus called the Intercontinental, which has a happy hour with free hors d'oeuvres that are usually really good. Although all the times I've gone there, I've wound up staying for dinner. They give you just enough hors d'oeuvres to make you realize how hungry you are. That's how they suck you in. 😛

By the way, y0g, that's a pretty impressive pile of interviews you've racked up there.

Yes, I think it's the right one because the Suites is closer to Euclid. Sorry, I don't know either of their addresses. The whole CCF campus goes by 9500 E. Euclid Ave. 😛

まあ、ケースとクリーブランドは春と夏の間に特にきれいな緑色になります。昔から「森の町」と呼ばれていた所ですよ。しかし、秋も冬になると、風が強くになって、温度はどんどん落ちて、太陽が消えてしまったそうです。でもそうになっても、いくらでも雪がすごく降っても、私には本当に好きな場所です。

This is the beauty of fourth year. I do have to study for Step 2 and the Case OSCE coming up, but other than that, I'm done with nearly all of our graduation requirements except for the research year. 😎
