hm, but weren't people saying earlier that acceptances were sent out by email the same day that they were mailed out?

in which case, wouldn't emails come tomorrow?
 
o crap o crap o crap. I'm so nervous. I got accepted at another school today so I'm either going to be having one heck of an amazing day or this is going to completely ruin the high i had going. ugh! I should have avoided this thread!!!!! Darn my lack of will power.

O and I have to go take an exam now. Let just add to my nerves shall we?!

Well last year someone emailed the admissions office and found out that letters were mailed that day, but people got e-mails the day before.

I also have to work tonight from 4 to 9. All I can say is thank God for smartphones. (then again this also makes me more insane - I had my girlfriend take away my phone every tuesday from Nov till Jan because I would drop everything every time it beeped.)

that and bosses who are just as worried as I am about if I get in or not.

good luck to us all... And hopefully they email in the next 5 minutes or so. For our own hair trigger saies.

looks like i'll be taking a brief break right about at 5pm... hopefully my bosses agree that it's a good idea 🙂 If only I HAD a smartphone... lol

I told my parents I needed the Palm Pre last summer. Somehow I got them to agree - they created a monster!

Hopefully we will both be doing victory dances with approving bosses around 5 tonight.

hmm how about nobody updates this thread until they have some good news... (said in the most non-rude tone ever).
 
I like that on the link it says they have negotiated a price with dell for $1060 but if you go on dell's website right now the most pimped out model is $1059. Doesn't look like they got a good deal. Especially if they got the average model not the top of the line.

I saw that too, but I'm thinking $1060 includes all the applications, customizations etc etc, so it's the final cost... Otherwise it doesn't make sense..

i'm dying here guys. I know I said I wouldn't check but my morbid curiosity has taken over. UGH!
At least no one has heard anything yet which is good news (for me). Everytime i get an email i nearly have a heart attack. UGH

Tmobile sent me an email with the subject "Special Invitation!". Almost died.

I am the most unproductive I have ever been in my life today. Going back and forth from my email to SDN...I need a life
 
I know--I've been practically glued to my computer ALL DAY! I am getting that terrible feeling that I will be opening an unhappy letter in the very near future...I keep telling myself it doesn't matter, second choice is still pretty good. But I still really want Iowa!
 
what if Iowa actually sticks with what they said this year and mails ALL decisions. How much of a pisser would that be? haha
 
So how long before we throw in the towel and know that they aren't coming today?
 
well i dont think anyone can count anything out yet guys, I think it would be very unlikley that at least one person monitoring this thread wont get an acceptance via email

What time are YOU going by? I'm in IL and my watch, the computer and the wall clock all say 6:30.
 
Checked my email before i checked in here, thought i was a gonner.

7:30pm in Maryland
