Since no one has posted good news in a while, here are some stats from the 2008-2009 thread. I am not sure if they are exact:
-It seems ~20 IS applicants were taken from the waitlist last cycle.
-Someone posted last year: "In the past five years, the max number of people accepted from the waitlist is 29." Posted by medical student windcolour
Don't medical schools try to reduce how many they accept from the alternate list or is that a myth?
Does anyone have a clue how many people are typically placed on the alternate list?
