Think positive! Look how far you've made it in this process:

-passed primary screen, offered secondary
-invited to interview
-"passed" the interview stage (not rejected outright) and are in the UC pool

I think any of us who have made it this far are likely to get in next year, worst case scenario.

The only status checking link is this one:

It's weird because it doesn't say anything besides "Secondary Completed" and "Interview Offer"...presumably until you've been accepted when it should list acceptance information. I can check it from my mac, so hopefully it will work for you!

I'm pretty sure the last UC email went out on Feb. 14th. I'm guessing if you interviewed after that and haven't heard anything then you're in the pool along with those of us who have been UC'd for a while.

I heard about my acceptance via phone call in Feb, and received an email about a week later at which point my status page said "Action was taken on your application x/xx/2011. You should receive communication from our office." and a button saying "Acceptance Information" appeared. So that's what to look for, although I'm not sure it would change on the status page before you received an email/phone call. Hope that helps, good luck to everyone waiting!

This was the first time they contact me. I think i interviewed late so I think that is why i was never UC'ed.

Guys keep your head up. I almost started practicing the verbal passages last night thinking I was going to have to retake the mcat. Damn you verbal! It aint over till classes start in august.

No change to my status page by the way. About biochemistry, I read that it isn't required per se. Let's say I was exposed to basic biochemistry topics in general biology and cell biology, would that suffice? AH...the requirements page is vague!

We take biochemistry during first year, so don't worry if you haven't had a full blown course in biochemistry. I think they just want you to be familiar with basic concepts, ie know generally how cell metabolism works, know about the chemical structures of the different biomolecules (lipids, carbs, proteins, nucleic acids), etc. Enough so that you don't have to spend time mastering the basic concepts, and can keep up with the more advanced topics we'll probably go into. Since you've had general bio and cell bio, I think you will be just fine!

Besides TRUST admissions (which I believe are for seats in Spokane), I don't think they differentiate between Seattle/Spokane/Pullman for admissions. After they have admitted the WA/OOS class (about the same time they create the wait list) I think they then assign campuses based on your preferences. So you aren't accepted to one campus, you are accepted to the WA/OOS seats and then you are assigned a campus. If anyone has heard otherwise, feel free to correct me on this one.

Yea, that's messed up if it's a joke. Jeebus, this whole process with UW takes forever. And if you're waitlisted it means more waiting, grrr. Okay, rant over.

I was accepted last night by phone around 8 pm central time. im a washington resident but have been out of state for the past year. interviewed in november and uc'd. if you dont believe me i really dont give a ****- just thought i'd inform some people who get off to any bit of news from uw

Sorry to everyone still waiting. It is especially hard if a particular school is your top choice. One of my top three choices (UW and UCLA/Drew being the other two) waitlisted me today, so it's looking more and more like I'm moving to Seattle. It's a good thing I LOVE Starbucks.
