That's a bummer that we're starting to get into the final pool nonsense. Ah well 🙂 If I remember right, when I applied at Iowa in 2011 my final pool notification came via snail mail. Not sure if they've changed their policy or not.
 
II today, OOS URM. I was worried that they were done! I had the choice of 4 interview dates, which were the M, W, and F's from 1/11 - 1/18, if I recall correctly.

Congrats, this calls for an extra toast come New Years! When were you complete if you don't mind sharing?

Yes, a lot to toast to for the New Year! I was complete mid-December (I am barely hanging on by a thread with my apps), so I was very pleasantly surprised to get the invite a few days ago.
 
Any acceptances lately? Things seem too quiet right now!

Has anyone else heard if they are in the final pool? I think I might call tomorrow to check... OOS interviewed 10/24
 
Once the committee reviews a file, they email whether you're admitted or final pooled. I interviewed 9/19, still haven't been brought to the committee yet either!
 
I see on the Iowa site that they stop interviewing at end of Jan.... so potentially they have all this month through april/may to make decisions and offers before going to wait list. True?

Final pool decisions are made no later than mid March. This includes whether you're accepted from final pool, waitlisted from final pool, or rejected from the final pool. Not much more waiting left!
 
Anyone get their reimbursement checks? I interviewed in November and still nothing....
 
Along those lines did anyone book with Expedia? They don't publish your credit card info on the conformation email yet Iowa requires it. Anyone know how to resolve this? I was thinking just send the email and my cc statement?

The limit is 120 days after you interviewed. So that's 4 months, better get on it lol.

ahh just found out that I'm not eligible for reimbursement anyway. Would've been nice. Oh well.
 
They only reimbursed me $50, but I got it ~four weeks after I interviewed (in October).

They gave me a form to fill out on the day of my interview (it was included in the packet of stuff that they handed out to all of the students). It basically asked me to record my miles and include receipts, and then I just mailed it to them and they mailed me back a check.


Also, for accepted students, have yall received the Certiphi background check email yet? I also sent in my fafsa last week, but ISIS says it hasn't been received. 😕
 
Accepted. Interviewed end of November, found out this week.
In state.

I havent received any background check information yet, I've been waiting for the email. I'm still waiting to submit the fafsa so I can't help there either 🙁

I interviewed the last week in November. Got the good news via email.
 
Dang I'm OOS, and interviewed early-mid Nov. Still waiting and crossing my fingers!
 
II invite on 1/3 for 1/18 interview. First interview as I completed my applications late in the cycle, so I'm very excited and happy to see I still have a chance!

Don't worry, if you look back far enough you'll see a bunch of us interviewed early and haven't heard anything. I interviewed on 9/19.
 
Was it just me or was January 15th supposed to be the magic day that we hear whether we are accepted/final pooled/rejected?? For some reason I thought we were told this date...

I was thinking about calling, but I don't want to bother the admissions staff if this wasn't true.. does anyone know/has anyone heard anything back today??

I agree! I think they told my interview group mid-January as well..... I think you should call and let us know what happens

I interviewed in late November and I do recall them saying mid Jan or maybe Jan 15 was the date to look out for. I absolutely loved CCOM and is definitely my top choice.

That would be nice, if 1/15 didn't pass already. But who knows, there's 1/16 left.

I am crossing my fingers for an email/phonecall!
