I was so excited that I forgot to post here! On Tuesday I was accepted off the wait list (started out at #19). I'm in state. Can't believe I'm going to Carver next year! Best of luck to everyone still on the wait list!

Congrats! Another official matriculant here! Excited to move to IC in August! And as an M2 carver student said at second look, remember this happy feeling in your life and hold on to it because you'll definitely need it for motivation later on 😀

Good luck to all the waitlisters!!!!

LOL looks like someone went to the financial aid presentation 😉

Any waitlisted OOSers called recently to see how many they are still over accepted by??

Just got accepted!!! 99% sure I'll be matriculating here! I'm not ready to retire my black and gold just yet 😀 Hawks!!

For anyone keeping track, I started as #9 (OOS waitlist) and was #6 in the last email I got 5/03.

Edit: Just received a pretty substantial scholarship via email and I haven't even submitted my financial aid yet. That being said, I'll change that 99% to a 100%!

#12 => #9 => Accepted (OOS)

Very nice people in the admissions and financial aid office. Hoping for comparable financial aid as the last med school, but still very excited to be attending!

Got in too!! First acceptance! Such a relief... 🙂

I started as OOS #15, then #11

Congrats to all the new acceptances!!! Now join the fb group so I can start stalking you all just like I've already done everybody else 😉

Anyone know if the IVF form and copies of your taxes can be faxed? Or does it have to be snail mailed?

You can definitely fax it. Just fax it to the number on the IVF form. I faxed the documents and it worked out for me 🙂

Any current students have any estimates on how much books will really cost for M1 year? The budget for them is 5k, which seems ridiculous... I know you can rent them from the counseling office, but are there a lot or are they normally all checked out?? Has anyone ordered them off of Amazon & if so how much would you estimate them to be for M1 year?

Any insight would be appreciated. I'm trying to figure out just how much to budget for books because I can't imagine it really being 5k?? Thanks!

Hey fellow waitlisters! I was just accepted this morning from the OOS list so it is still moving.
Originally #31, was #1 last Friday (I know because I called them).

FWIW I think current students at second look mentioned that they hardly bought any of the books but there were some that you definitely needed. Also doesn't that 5k take into account buying a new laptop?

Anyone know the official abbreviation? IOC? Just Carver?
