I'm at home now and I had my letter sent to my present address 🙁 Gotta go and see if I'm waitlisted or rejected.
there is a third option, acceptance, don't rule that out until you see the letter!

(delete this before reposting [Should we post our stats to get a rough estimate of where we stand?])
Do we call them to find out where we stand on the waiting list? I also emailed WVU about sending in my fall transcript but still haven't received a reply. Does it have to be from the school? Will an unofficial transcript suffice?
Interview on Monday. I'm assuming its pretty laid back as with most other interviews, but welcoming any last minute tips. From reading here, I can see all the OOS are waitlisted anyway so not much harm in interviewing this late, eh? 😀
Good luck, it was a pretty laid back and easy going day and interview. And yea Beth Ann said that they do not rank those on the waitlist so I don't think it'll affect you too much.
The admissions committee assigns a score to each applicant from 1-9 which determines your place on the wait list. WVU does not release this info to the applicants as to score or place on the list.
I was just telling you guys what she wrote in my email.
"We do not rank our waitlist so I cant tell you where you are on the list, sorry" Beth Ann
Does anyone know what time/ what room number we meet? I'm interviewing Monday and on my way to Morgantown and I just realized I forgot my paper! I don't think anyone will answer my emails in time! I'm going to be so embarrassed if I have to call Monday morning.

Where did you guys stay?
Mind sharing stats?
about how long after the interview did you guys hear? have some OOS been accepted?

What do you think my chances are, I only applied to WVU. I am graduating with a doctorate from pharmacy school in may with a 3.9 graduate GPA and 3.96 undergraduate GPA. I didn't have much time to study for the MCAT so ended up with a 25Q. My interview went great, I have a ton of extra curricular activities, and years of healthcare experience including working with physicians. I am a WV resident. Honestly, what do you think my chances are?
I am have interviewed and am just awaiting my letter. Thanks.

i'd say your chances are good for a straight up acceptance, but dont be surprised to start out on the waitlist. good luck!
I got an acceptance letter today! So excited now!
When will we see movement on the waitlist? (I don't feel like combing for the answer)

My interview experience did have a lot of questions off of my application, and also some questions about personal strengths and weaknesses. They also asked me an ethical question so I'd be prepared for that in case. Good luck!I am interviewing Friday and I have a couple of quick questions (this is my first interview): When you enter the room and greet the interviewers are you able to shake their hands or something or is it just a verbal greeting and sit? Also, did they ask any questions about the essay questions we answered for the secondary? Were there any questions that stuck out for anybody? So far it seems everyone had pretty straightforward interviews based on their application...
Also there were no questions from the secondary, you do get to shake their hands, and other than the ethical type questions there was nothing aside from what was on my application. It was also my first interview so I was nervous, but you'll feel so much better once it's done!My interview experience did have a lot of questions off of my application, and also some questions about personal strengths and weaknesses. To mikemskatet: Congrats on your acceptance! I read your earlier post, and just wondering, did you interview January 2 by any chance?? And already get your letter? I interviewed on that day so just wondering when I should expect to hear! 🙂
