Did all of you guys get emails? ahhhh I interviewed Nov 12th so now im getting nervous.CONGRATS GUYS!!!!

My vague memory from interview day is that while some acceptances go out in December, many more will be released in January -- so I don't think you're out of the running quite yet! 👍

FML. Now I'm sitting here waiting for the rejection letter.

I'm sure they're working their way down a list, and they will get back to everyone else once they have a clearer picture of everyone who's interviewed.

Hi everyone!

Congratulations on all your acceptances!!! Have you all been receiving these e-mails throughout the day? Or is the wave of acceptances already over?

Anyone been waitlisted/rejected yet or is this just the superstar acceptances?

to any and all who are freaking out in the limbo stage like me:

this post is quoted from last years 2012-2013 thread so "last year" refers to 2011-2012:
"Ok, so after looking through last year's thread, it seems that some acceptances went out on the 15th then some more calls went out the following Monday. Some people did not receive a call or an email, but just received a letter in the mail."

and after looking at last year's 2012-2013 thread(note: this is probably different from what we might expect because their interview/decision timeline was longer due to hurricane sandy):

people received calls on the 14th and some reported calls on the 19th, as well. Another person reported receiving an e-mail on the 22nd (saturday). It doesn't seem to be in order (although I think my sample size is too small) because the person who received an e-mail interviewed in mid-october, while some other person who got a call on the 19th had interviewed in november.
after the 22nd, the next reported acceptances were in mid january (14, 2013).

omg, i hope they don't mail me a decision because i won't be back at my house for another two weeks 🙁

Yep, I have it too. It's probably a glitch like the other waitlist thing that came up a few months ago on the portal.

Apparently they send out a mass wave of rejections (including pre-interview rejections) in the beginning of march even though their interview season is already over.

Don't give up hope guys! NYU is probably just skimming the top right now and will hand out more acceptances as they are ready to hand them out.

yup, says im accepted. also says im accepted into the 3 year program like others have mentioned which is weird. must be an error since the tertiary application link makes no indication of my acceptance to that program.

I think it'll be February 1/January 31st this year. I think the reason NYU was more delayed last year in getting decisions to people was because of Hurricane Sandy and having to extend their interview season.

Seems like it. :/ That might be the last round of acceptances and all waitlists/post-interview rejections will follow on January 31st/February 1st.
