I interviewed back in late Sep (9/28) and didn't hear anything on the 12/20 wave. Here's hoping they're not going in strict chronological order, and there are lots more acceptances on the way!
Is there any historical evidence to support this hope?
what makes you say that?I'm wondering whether the next batch really will be bigger because the first one seemed pretty big to me.
My friend at Vandy who got the big scholarship received his initial acceptance about two weeks after when they promised they would tell him... And then the scholarship offer itself came after. No idea if that's relevant or not, but I'm trying to use it to comfort myself...That makes me feel so much better! I thought I was the only nov person who hadn't heard back (11/12 interview)
There's a $100 refundable deposit that you submit through the online portal. It had to be submitted within one week or you forfeit your spot.
Meh oh well. I just did it now, but my letter was date 12/11 (didn't get it earlier due to holiday travels). The system still let me do it.
Did regular applicants get an email? Bc I only got a snail mail letter for MSTP and it didn't mention this 2-week thing at all. It was just weird in general to only receive a snail mail acceptance.
Also got it. My guess is they sent it to everyone who's interviewed.
I interviewed and didn't receive the email... Oh no!!
lol I had the same heart leaping reaction. not cool NYU, not cool. No, it's cool NYU financial aid seminar. I wasn't planning on keeping my lunch down today, anyway!![]()
Yeah. I'm not going to watch it if I'm not accepted yet.Mid-end of January...... My money is on the end of this week since they will want to increase attendance for their webinar on the 22nd 🙂
Haha, yeah. SDN mobile is being buggy. All those post about receiving it went unread. Still, sending this blast while we're all still waiting...not cool.I think the more important Q is if there is anyone who already interviewed that did not get the email.
did they happen to mention when decisions are really coming out....what is this mid to end of january business. its torture. such a wide range.Emailed AdCom, they said that it doesn't reflect admissions decision.

Also, I probably should've been fired by now.
YES. THANK YOU FOR FINDING OUT. now i can stop compulsively checking my email.Spoke to an admissions office rep. after receiving an email saying that they did not have my SSN on file. I had to call to give them my SSN; the person I talked to let me know that decisions would be out on Jan. 31st.
